And the Democrats continue to lose to these assholes? Bunch of losers…

    • Posted by Sha Dow, at Reply

The corporate democrats are “right” wing light, but Americans thought voting even further “right” wing will solve the problems “right” wing policies created. America hasn’t had a left wing party for decades. It’s been a choice between degrees of the same thing. Corporate dems are republicans with a D in front of their name.

    • Posted by J Wallace, at Reply

will be my end To be fair, democrats are split on a number of things and the Republicans tend to stick together even when tards like Trump and Ted Cruz run for presidency. I knew as many democrats who hated Hillary as Republicans.

remember trump said that he was going to cover EVERYONE, that EVERYONE would get more benefits from his healthcare bill, and that the GOVERNMENT was going to pay for it. what happened to that? if you were mad at obama saying “if you like your doctor you get to keep your doctor” fine that was an unrealistic promise, but trump LITERALLY promised you everything. even if you are still a stupidly blind trump supporter this should get you pissed.

Iron Bowtie In 2018, CBO said, “14 million more people would be uninsured under the [GOP] legislation than under current law,” most of that due to the immediate elimination of the individual mandate requiring most people to pay a tax if they don’t have insurance.

CBO doesn’t provide specific numbers but says that “[s]ome of those people would choose not to have insurance because they chose to be covered by insurance under current law only to avoid paying the penalties, and some people would forgo insurance in response to higher premiums.”
CBO expects higher average premiums in the individual market in 2018 and 2019, as healthy people decide to drop their insurance without that mandate penalty in place. As those healthy folks leave, overall costs in the individual market go up.

Employer coverage would decline as well, by 7 million people. But that’s a mix of those who decide not to accept an employer’s offer of coverage without an individual mandate, and those who are no longer offered insurance by their employers, CBO explained.

It is certainly true that the CBO analysis found the Republican bill would lead to 24 million fewer people having insurance, compared with current law. But as that analysis also made clear, not all of them would be tossed off their insurance, nor would they all lose insurance they have “today.”

I would love to get a job. The problem is, I’m disabled and whenever I try to get a job they fire me/ refuse to hire me ’cause they’re worried I’ll sue them if I injure myself. Same with my mom who has type 2 diabetes and my dad’s doesn’t have a job that pays much because he’s crippled. This happens to millions of people all over the U.S., so stfu!

  9. Posted by Queen Queen, at Reply

The only thing the Republican party could do is put a reality show person up as a candidate. Now that the buffoon won, the only thing he is there for is to wait out another Supreme Court opening. His “MAGA” voters will get NOTHING. His promise to get a better healthcare plan “on day one” has fallen flat. He never had any plan to get anything done other than packing the Supreme Court with people who will do the bidding of America’s ultra rich.

Real Men have their own healthcare and do not depend on the government for health care

    • Posted by Jeff Ketcham, at Reply

freedombase I guess “real men” don’t get preexisting conditions either. Without the government mandate to cover preexisting conditions, health insurance would not be affordable for “fake men.”

cne08 Not just to republicans but also democratics they are just as guilty as the other party for some of the crap tgey have pulled over the years but again most people are too proud to own up to tge crap there part does and if you call them out on it they always want to point the finger at the other party

    • Posted by whyamimrpink78, at Reply

Great, now how are you going to provide it? Are you going to force doctors to work 12+ hours a day for less pay? You have to realize that we lack resources and man power to actually provide healthcare to everyone.

    • Posted by Bertram Reese, at Reply

whyamimrpink78 No we dont lack the resources they are just being sent to places that other people say is necessary when the truth is its not. Every body wants there taxs to be cut but then they want extra police service or better schools or something that the goverment would have to supply so the cost is reasonable but the fact stands every one needs to pay there fare share everyone there shouldnt be taxs breaks where some dont have to pay then force more or cut services for the many just to make up for that cut. We are not in a position to allow such actions for the hurt the country overall

    • Posted by A54321, at Reply

ebudae2000 Some people don’t want to pay for health insurance. They feel like they don’t need it at the time and would rather put the money they’d spend on it towards other things. But Obama forced people who didn’t want insurance to buy it anyway. With this bill, those people will drop their insurance.

    • Posted by P, at Reply

Wrong, I have health care because I work for it. I don’t need any welfare program. This is why premiums have gone up on the working class, but not the lazy.
