Alright then. Where are all the Trumpanzees and Hillbots that stated Bernie was given a fair shot? Where y’all at?

    • Posted by злюка, at Reply

The lawyer never claimed that the DNC was not fair and balanced. He’s arguing that this is not something that belongs in court in the first place… WHICH IS WHAT EVERY LAWYER SHOULD DO. It’s the first line of argumentation

    • Posted by Man the Dude, at Reply

злюка – anti trust laws exist.

    • Posted by злюка, at Reply

Man the Dude NOT the point. It is the job of the lawyer to argue that they do not apply in this case, and that the DNC can do whatever they want. The secnd line of arguing would be that the DNC was indeed fair and balanced, in case the first argument fails.

Bernie would’ve crushed Trump, and even Hillary if the DNC didn’t conspire against Bernie. Let’s hope that they won’t rig the elections in 2020 again. Vive Macron!

The pressure on Macron, a political neophyte, cannot be overstated. He has my sympathies. No matter what, though, he is light years ahead of where we’d be with that racist xenophobe, Putin prodigee LePen in office. Well done, France!

Not likely. The oldest is that libtard hag Ginsburg, and she will probably be the first to go. Shes already claimed she would retire. if not–she could croak off before Trump leaves office and that would make a 6-3 conservative majority

After hearing the statement from the DNC lawyer, who in their right mind would donate to a political party not knowing if their donation is actually going to be used in a fraudulent way or even against the donors wishes? The DNC and Debbie Wasserman Schultz shot themselves in the mouth. They are admitting they are a scam who uses donations giving in faith for their own evil agenda. This is the best way imaginable to kill a political party. This is pure corruption of the electoral process. It reeks of fascism corruption and fraud.

    • Posted by phat1ful, at Reply

Twostones00 The “smoke filled room” attitude has been a part of the Democratic Party since the 1980s.

    • Posted by Twostones00, at Reply

phat1ful There is a big difference between a smoke filled room “attitude” and fraud. Is your comment intended to justify the actions of the DNC in violation of their charter?

    • Posted by ursaltydog, at Reply

Yes.. it’s actually sad that as far as appearances go, the word Democratic doesnt’ seem to describe the Democratic party.. but rather the Republican party who bowed to the whims of the voters…. or did they? What kind of money outvoted the Koch brothers on the repugnican presidential nominee?

  12. Posted by Omesh Singh, at Reply

Why are you trying to fix an unfixable party. Start a new Progressive party.

    • Posted by John Smith, at Reply

carl, remind me again what the DNC is being sued for? Oh yeah failing to keep the primaries fair and impartial. How does participating in a corrupt primary fix an unfixable party?

    • Posted by zwergie256, at Reply

+Carl Sagan The lawyer for the DNC literally said there’s no legal obligation to honor the wishes (votes) of the voters, let me translate: The primaries are a charade, theater, your vote is irrelevant and your money goes straight down the toilet.

The US need a strict party financing law. Donations over $ 25,000 / year are prohibited. All donations must be publicly available.

    • Posted by Hexx Bombastus, at Reply

Andreas Kreissl that’s only a bandaid anyway. I would make it so that No donations were allowed period. You apply, and if you’re poling at 1% of the nation, then you’re given a tax funded war chest. Any money withdrawn from that chest must be approved by an election committee to ensure that nobody is laundering their campaign coffers. Your war chest is just as big as anyone else’s. No differences.

    • Posted by sanjuansteve, at Reply

Let’s get ALL money out, and transparency in!

    • Posted by thomas watson, at Reply

Andreas Kreissl we tried the establishment squashed it

    • Posted by Andreas Kreissl, at Reply

Hexx that can apply to the election campaign. Same amount for all candidates. But parties need money in the current year and this can not be equated all. Large parties have more offices and employees. Monitoring is of course necessary to close loopholes. The election campaign may be financed by taxes. Either way, the same conditions for each party / candidate.

  14. Posted by Shari Gavreel, at Reply

Lesson learned. Don’t give anymore money to a political candidate or party.

Since taxpayers pay for the primary elections, I’m surprised that this isn’t an easier case. How can the cigar smokers pick a candidate when millions of dollars in taxpayer money is involved?

    • Posted by Suade Legend, at Reply

Mark Tenzer because they are smarter than the average citizen unfortunately. We’ve been tricked into believing we aren’t in control of their decisions somehow. To be blunt,,,,, we the people as a whole are ignorant as well as plain stupid and the time is now to take our power back!!! The republican and democrat argument is further proof of our stupidity and we should be embarrassed for being fooled with such little effort. We will never stop this takeover until we feel insulted!! We people argue with each other on YouTube because of the first insult yet,,,, don’t argue with our leaders the same way because it’s more important to defend the left or right based on a belief that a certain side cares more. I read someone’s comment on this video and he actually bragged about the democrats losing their position of power from coast to coast lol. That person doesn’t understand that republicans have done the same thing which gave democrats the power in the first place!! My point is, to you,, the person I just spoke of,, and anyone that cares to read my long message of wisdom is,,,,,, BOTH sides work together and always have.!! They merely take turns winning our support so that when one side messes up,,,, the other comes in and plays hero so that we people don’t acknowledge the damage done because we’re blinded by the heroic party trick played. Then they have their run for a while until they cause enough damage to be noticed lol. Then guess what?? The other party comes back in as the hero again and the game of monkey in the middle continues!!!! Guess who’s the monkey??? It’s almost impossible for most people to understand this reality or even notice it never mind getting to the important phase of feeling stupid. I realize I wrote a book to your name but it’s because I believe you’re intelligent and more than worth the time and my genuine concern about our issues of politics. Our problem in America is that we are led by people that hasn’t been able to be one force for freedom, justice, and peace!!!!! They argue with each other right in our faces and we see nothing wrong with that reality as if we are subconsciously entertained by it. I’m beyond aware of the mind game played on us and I hope you will too and share that with others. The government has had more than enough time to make things beautiful for us along with the money, intelligence, technology, support from us,, and the power to do such.!!! So the only excuse for things being crazy is our ignorance, arrogance,, and stupidity!!! If we can understand that,,,, our fights amongst each other will truly disappear forever

What I am hoping for is that there truly is a groundswell of people on the local level running for city, county, state offices all across the country to take our nation back. Quality people that have decided it is up to them to hold government accountable by running for public office, and that will change the democratic party on the national level as the people who are the rank and file demand it to be so. Those are the people that become “super delegates”, those are the people that decide the party planks. Those are younger people that have a stake in the future more so than what we see

    • Posted by loverainthunder, at Reply
