You do know that almost every big anchor at MSNBC, CNN, FOX, NBC, ABC all make around 10-30+ million a year? Sean Hannity makes *29 Million dollars A YEAR* Rachel Maddow makes $30,000 a day. 50% of every hard working American working 50-60 hours a week makes 30,000 or less a year.

Simple capitalistic solution. Some airlines should offer special space for pets. I bet some pet lovers would pay a premium to ensure that their pets won’t be dead upon arrival.

    • Posted by MrNateSPF, at Reply

It is so stupid that they don’t have just 4 seats dedicated to dogs. Then they should have 4 seats dedicated to cats so they don’t get eaten by the dogs. Then they should have 4 seats dedicated to birds so they don’t get eaten by the cats. Then they should have 4 seats dedicated to lizards so they don’t get eaten by the birds…

I mean it’s just crazy that toys don’t pop out of the seat if a baby is in it, don’t they know babies like playing with toys.

I have 2 dogs, next year I’m planning to move to NYC. I decided to just buy a mini van and drive up to New York instead of paying a bunch of money to fly. why can’t airlines just allow people to buy seats for their dogs?

    • Posted by naejin, at Reply

@Another Made Up Internet Subculture: on the plus side, dogs love riding in cars & sticking their head out with the air breeze.

    • Posted by DootDoot, at Reply

Letting dogs stick their heads out moving car windows is extremely bad for their eyes. At best you want to crack the window so they can put their nose up to the breeze.

And if he’s really Jewish, then they’re smart since Jewish people own most of the property in America, because they’re not stupid. Also, prove that he’s a Hillary donor. πŸ™„

If a corporation invests in a politician, does that corrupt the politician? No, of course not! The sources of funding never influence the things they’re giving money to! Are you serious dude?

Kim, I love ya girl, but please don’t look to PETA for statistics. They kidnap peoples pets off their property and euthanize them. In 2014 they euthanized 2,454 of its 3,369 cats, dogs and other animals. And in 2015 they euthanized another 1,502 of the 2,063 animals they took in.

I’m hardly an authority on this topic but come on TYT should know better than to quote organizations like PETA and they have also quoted Auti$m $peak$ in the past. Both organizations are highly questionable, to say the least.

I don’t want animals to die. But as a person with life-threatening allergies to animals, I don’t want to die, either. Airlines need to be held accountable for the health and safety of animals in the cargo-hold.

    • Posted by Chris Hattings, at Reply

Exactly. I am very allergic to cats and almost had to go to the hospital for an asthma attack after being next to one in a carrier for 3 hours. I have no problem with true service animals like guide dogs for the blind or dogs for medical conditions. However, the emotional support animals have gotten out of hand. And worse, the people scamming the system because they can’t go without fluffy for a few days are hurting people like war veterans that may need the animals. My family had dogs growing up but we always boarded them or left them with friends or family and they were fine.

    • Posted by MuttonChop Red, at Reply

Chris Hattings wah wah wah, stay off of planes, duh.

  13. Posted by Onychoprion27, at Reply

Why do airlines board before doing maintenance checks? Because Capitalism. It decreases the amount of ground-time for the planes, and allows them to fly more frequently. That lowers ticket cost, and makes them more competitive.

  14. Posted by elessal, at Reply

easy fix: put always an employee down there every time there is one or more pets in the cargo hold. they will make them company, they will give them food, water and help them avoid any kind of stress for the particular situation they are experiencing, but also will make sure that if something wrong happens there will be someone to notice and get help. make that a obligatory rule in the industry. so, if something bad happens and not only the animals but also the human taking care of them dies, the companies will have much worse hell to pay.

Haha. Instead of malfunctioning on the tarmac, the AC on my plane malfunctioned 25% through the flight and we had to turn back cause no other airports were big enough to support the plane. Then we had to circle around the airport cause we had too much gas to land.

Cats and dogs with flat faces shouldn’t really fly, the risk of them suffocating is so much higher. Thought they allowed small dogs to fly in cabin as long as its not an international flight?
