The US creates terrorism, funds terrorism, and is terrorism all so that the government can create enough fear so that the public feels the need to give up their rights for “safety”. #StayWoke

    • Posted by Tommy Gunz, II, at Reply

+Brett Strong you’re wrong. It is political change by definition to unseat a current political leader, install a new form of government, and a new leader of your liking. This meeting the definition of terrorism. We have done it all around the world for decades, whether it be sponsoring the Contras through cocaine sales and COA involvement, or the handling of Gadaffi, or the seizure and subsequent execution of Saddam followed by the “installation of democracy” in Iraq.

    • Posted by Jabril Woods, at Reply

+Brett Strong you don’t have morals do you, violence only causes more violence.

+Solomon Stringer you seem to be arguing against a point that I already agreed with. Lol

    • Posted by DucksDoctor, at Reply

Brett Strong Okay so literally by your exact definition. The fact that we unseated Saddam is terrorism. That is political change. So thank you for proving the “lefties”, point.

    • Posted by MrLM002, at Reply

muntu1221 Well what’s your definition of close? Like giving gays the right to marry?

    • Posted by muntu1221, at Reply

MrLM002 No, I’m saying the country has gotten close to these things before, like invasive conversion therapy on gay people.

By the way, we didn’t give anyone the right to marry. They already _had_ the right to marry, it was just recognized (finally) by the supreme court and is now being protected.

    • Posted by MrLM002, at Reply

muntu1221 nothing is close to genocide and Nazi like forced medical experimentation besides genocide and Nazi like forced medical experimentation.

    • Posted by muntu1221, at Reply

MrLM002 Now that’s just not logical and ignores the nuances of reality to basically say “that can’t happen here, ever.”

I am an American living in Canada and these policies are effecting my desire to return home even to visit family. My husband and I are already thinking we’ll need to get burner phones and cheap “for traveling” lap tops. Its adding a lot of unnecessary expense just to cross a border less than 4hrs from our house. Thus making the prospect of doing so more and more distasteful.

    • Posted by kass, at Reply

Matti Leijona Canada is better, isn’t it?

    • Posted by Matti Leijona, at Reply

It is objectively better what with the minimum wage going up in our province, healthcare, more secure rights, etc. I won’t say I don’t miss where I grew up and I have had my moments of culture shock but it is a nice place to live.

    • Posted by Ari Iskander Krohn Berle, at Reply

Yeah, and we all already are SO positive towards American attitude. This is really going to make you one of us when traveling…

    • Posted by RustyDust101, at Reply

I thought that the entrance paper into the USA was stupid beyond belief anyway.
Listen, when did you ever believe that any criminal or terrorists are ever going to answer the questions about ‘Do you intend to commit a crime, or help to perpetrate a crime, or plan a crime?’ or ‘Do you plan to commit a terrorist attack on the soil of the USA, or on US interests during your stay?’.

Yeah, obviously I am going to answer these questions truthfully if I were truely intending to do it.

But this is truely going too far, should this really be a change of policy towards even purported allies.
But luckily for the US, Europeans usually still apply their constitutions to their allies as well, even if we do not accept or agree with certain politicians points of view.

Traveling to the USA, that has been off the table for me since George W. Bush Junior, sorry to say it.
Despite a lot of positive changes the Obama administration has brought, they were still complicit in the continuation of a war that was not legally acceptable, neither by US nor international laws. That was my personal reason for cancelling any travel into the USA since 2001.

  12. Posted by samiamrg7, at Reply

This is exactly what the Terrorists want. They want us to be paranoid and scared and scared of everything. They want us to undermine our values out of fear. Why are we letting ourselves succumb to fear just because of a few guys with guns an ocean away?

As for how the USA fares, well that i am not to sure about XD

Nazi Germany 2.0. It is coming fast. i don’t know how many times people like myself have to warn you idiots. It gets implimented in steps, only this time it is happening quickly. Yet Americans sit on their fat arses and accept it. They are gonna get what they deserve, in the end.

Jonathan C. I have been warning people of this as well. All the steps are there. People aren’t paying close enough attention. They’ll build their wall with the slaves they make of prisoners and citizens that will become prisoners. The fact they’re allowed to continue is the best sign it can absolutely happen.

    • Posted by AlphaWolf098, at Reply

The Worm I’m a progressive (fairly moderate) liberal, and with Trump, the signs are there in his rhetoric and stuff. Jonathan is correct in that it happens in stages. The circumstances surrounding the US right now are also decently similar to how Germany was, because of the 2008 recession. Bad economy under one leader, then a different one comes along, blames a demographic, appeals to the “golden age” idea and restoration of it, and incites fear and hate. The circumstances are decently similar.
