Trump sold out the american people and his supporters are still in denial

    • Posted by Just a Guy Trying to Make Funny Videos, at Reply

hervy galloway are u an idiot? They didn’t give them a waiver. Also how does this have anything to do trump. It’s a private contract between Russia and Exxon. Regarding Mara lago, Trump is probably traveling too much but it’s well within his right so let’s not act like that’s selling the American ppl out. That’s not being objective.

“I’m not a troll I’m a serious Trump supporter! He’s our president and has done a great job!”

Nah, you tipped your hand by being too over the top. Tone it down a bit and people might believe your serious.

  2. Posted by Phillip Armstrong, at Reply

Of course they can’t do it now that the media is constantly running a Russia collusion theme. It’s not like contracts cannot be renewed.

Exactly , I believe the sanctions will be removed in about 3 months after some phony deal in Syria . However , even if it takes longer the Russians will give Exxon ( and by extension Tillerson ) some new sweet  heart deal . Tillerson has investments that go way  up in value if the sanctions are removed .  Carter Page has a deal whereby he gets Russian gas shares if the sanctions are removed .       Paul Manafort has worked for the Russians for years .  There are a lot of rumours that Trump owes the Russians billions loaned to him after 2008 when western banks stopped lending to him .     Jeff Sessions kept forgetting how many times he met with Russians.

    • Posted by Sinkor22, at Reply

You sound EXACTLY like Alex Jones whenever his conspiracy theorices turn out to be untrue.

    • Posted by Jim is the man, at Reply

@William Eddy: … and you left out 3/4 of the facts. There’s a lot more. But, for the doubters, let’s focus on just one point: Why did Flynn and Sessions, and Prince, and Kushner all meet secretly with the Russians? To claim that it’s innocent denies reality.

  3. Posted by Jim is the man, at Reply

Exxon is tied deep into Trump’s Russian corruption. It will all come out. Trump is just trying to cover for his dirty doings. I’m not buying it.

NickTheGreatAndPowerful Unless these intelligence agencies release real proof, I remain skeptical. Of course, useful idiots of the establishment like you continue to drink Washington Kool-aid. You probably believed Saddam had Iraqi WMDs.

    • Posted by Jim is the man, at Reply

@Houuna Scipter: Intel agencies often don’t release specifics because to do so reveals methods and sources, which would endanger those resources. However, they HAVE disclosed it to the Intel Committees, and they have already relayed the basics to us.

Tillerson headed the ExxonMobil deal with Putin before Obama put sanctions on Russia and stopped the drilling altogether because of Russia invasion of ukraine. And now WOW he’s Secretary of State. It’s odd that all the cabinets are filled with men who have close ties and dealings with Russia. I think media exposure of Russian invasion of US is stifling Putin’s plans. I hope all these men get very long prison terms. They with Trump are traitors to the USA.

      +Yo Stella:
      1. There was no “Russia invasion of Ukraine”. Russia was in Crimea in the first place as per the military base agreement that was about moving around up to 25 000 troops within about twenty military installations within the peninsula (Russia did not top this maximum during the events).
      2. The whole Crimea thing was a retaliation for the Western-backed regime change coup in Ukraine; the only way to guarantee that Ukraine will not be annexed into NATO was to accept the decades-long dream of Crimeans for their peninsula to reunited with its homeland. Countries with territorial integrity issues can not be accepted into NATO.
      3. Exxon’s Russia deal is only a minor part of the company’s MULTI-TRILLION USD portfolio of future projects. So the idea that it was a cornerstone factor or motivation in anything is ridiculous.
      4. The whole conspiracy thing is just an Alex Jones level zero-evidence lunacy. Even after nine months of investigations and “not wittingly” spying on Trump, there is still nothing. Even Obama/Clinton’s neocon maniacs such as Clapper and Morell admitted that there is no evidence of “collusion”.

It’s all irrelevant. Scientists say keep the oil in the ground or we’re fucked. I agree with the scientists. Screw Exxon profits.

@Chad – Funny how little press coverage that got, eh? Most people have no idea that “I never settle; I’m always right” Trump did that.

    • Posted by Rocket_Raichu985, at Reply

that would be hilarious, but I doubt it.

We’re going to be at war with Iran, Russia, China or North Korea before Trump gets impeached/assassinated/has a heart attack on top of his daughter.

    • Posted by Morticai Andthemortys, at Reply

hudsle and it will come out in the news and prove that Steve Bannon was correct in calling Jared Kushner a cuck. That heart attack could be the thing that topples the whole administration.

Rex just found out that if he let Exxon go ahead with drilling, the Judicial branch would have a field day with charges against the whole Trump Admin.

    • Posted by jemimallah, at Reply

it would be funny if the reason is that the trump administration has already done so much goddamn corruption already that they felt this would be pushing it too far

On the face of it, I am content with how Trump has handled Russia so far. He stated that he would prefer more friendship and cooperation with Russia, which was a refreshing and positive sound. At the same time, he made it clear that Putin should never think he or his pals can jerk us around. The sanctions stay where they are.

  15. Posted by hmxr, at Reply

Putin has lined up several other oil drilling companies ready to take over.

  16. Posted by SEETHRU-U, at Reply

It’s a lot of greedy people in Washington and that a lot of money , America don’t mean much , compared to that amount of cash for the few .

  17. Posted by Enriquillo, at Reply

Give a year or longer & they’ll quietly give Exxon a waiver.

    • Posted by Paul Swanee, at Reply

Except that Exxon Mobil’s contract expires in less than a year with Russia. Also Exxon Mobil is not the only company to submit these waivers, and they are not the only company doing deal with Russia in drilling in this area

  18. Posted by Red Pill prime, at Reply

The Trump administration is the most corrupt administration in America history. If this was the 1970’s an earlier. Over half the people would be in jail. But in your face corruption is the new American normal. And the 2 houses of the federal government don’t do nothing.

    • Posted by Paul Swanee, at Reply

Clearly you have never learned about Ulysses S Grant’s administration…

  19. Posted by bryantppierce, at Reply

Not shocking, it’s a ruse, it would be all too easy to spot if they went ahead and lifted those sanctions now, they’ll do it, but in a sneakier way down the line.
