I’m sure it was a lot of upper middle class white people but you don’t think there’s people that paid the lower bracket of that that’s saved a little bit of money every week and then went to something disappointing like this. like the other guy said we live in the first world , what are you even implying? I’m sure since you made a comment like that you must donate thousands of dollars to Charities to help out the third world right? No, you just go on an internet video and pretend to be righteous.

@james smith: The richest counties in America all voted for Hilary, not Drumpf.

    • Posted by james smith, at Reply

People are not counties. I am talking about individuals that are rich not counties

    • Posted by Jon Smith, at Reply

+james smith I’m sure the libtard meant the richest counties in America meaning if you calculated the median income.

    • Posted by Jon Smith, at Reply

+Ivanka lol ain’t that the truth. the same upper middle class white people that makeup these people LARPing as revolutionaries but have six figure income jobs so they can afford to go play pretend.

    • Posted by Illya Wasashi, at Reply

+James smith You are confusing donors, backers and political support. It is true that conservative politicians usually have the backing of the ultra-rich. But the conservative voter is usually an idiot that barely finished high school.

PS* I know that when I say usually it’s literally like 3-5 points of statistical significance. Example, how poor uneducated frankly stupid people from the rust belt most* voted for Trump.

I free sorry for no one who can afford a couple thousands dollar to go to a music festival. I grew up poor.

    • Posted by rollingcan, at Reply

I mean it suck for them. But my brain don’t allow me to feel sorry for them.

    • Posted by Honudes Gai, at Reply

I dont feel bad for them at all, karma always gets them in the end

    • Posted by Jon Smith, at Reply

I feel sorry for the few guys that saved a little bit of money every week to look forward to go on a vacation and then have to put up with these kind of conditions. I know what it was like when you were younger and not having any money and saving up for a long time to either purchase something nice or to actually be able to do something like go to the Bahamas.

A lower middle class european here. If I where them then I would take my sandwich as a travel food and follow the road to either a town to get my phone charged up or to the airport/port that they arrived at. If I could get some others to follow me then I would find a police station or the managers of this event and start complaining and/or protesting till we get some answers.

HAHAHA this is great. Rich people have to live like someone in a third world country for a DAY and are tweeting out begging people to send rescuers. No sympathy for them whatsoever, outside of getting scammed. Boo hoo you had income I would DREAM of to throw away on a concert, and you had to eat bad food for one day. Poor widdle rich people, ONE DAY out of your raping of the nation, how will you ever recover?!

    • Posted by Bob Sagert, at Reply

Yeah precisely, too bad none of them died lol.

  18. Posted by MrG0TH1ER, at Reply

Meh. These morons have way too much money to burn anyway.
Poor people are getting scammed everyday in the US and it almost never makes the news.
These rich douchebags will probably make up for that money in no time. This is not a tragedy at all.

I don’t intend to judge anyone’s intelligence based on what kind of a vacation they decide to go on. Just because I wouldn’t do so myself doesn’t mean I have any actual opinion on their intelligence or sanity. Now, that media point I’ll get behind. It bothers me that things like this get coverage INSTEAD of other things for sure, I’ll never argue that this should get coverage instead of stories about refugee quality of life or the latest water crisis here in the states. I agree that those issues are objectively more critical to discuss. I just hate to see something turn into an opportunity to bash people based on anything but actual behavior, income included. I don’t feel like it does anything but perpetuate the stereotyping and class division that an increasing number of significantly wealthy people are trying to get rid of now. In addition, I don’t know if this piece is indicative of the news media as  whole, although I totally agree with you that the media in general places way too much importance on celebrity news and that is unfortunately the fault of the viewer, no the fault of the people paid to make sure ratings continue to stay steady or go up. TYT does try to cover the important news but they do have some, I don’t know if you would really call them fluff pieces because they do tend to have a fairly important backline to them, but they have some stories are less critical to discuss that I think kind of give them a break from discussing how America and the rest of the world are all losing their minds.
