    • Posted by TJ (Shadowkire), at Reply

+Hypnotic Synopsis The Colorado river forms the border between California
and Arizona. We have direct access to the river. It is not imported. Also
that only covers half of the water of southern California(the desert region
+ LA). And that is during a drought.

Assuming California was blocked from getting that water we could outlaw
lawns in SoCal and stop growing the crops we have been exporting to other
states. The result would be California having more than enough water and
the US in famine. I think we will do just fine.

We will not be trading with rump Ca if it left. Most of your counties would
choose to say in US. You’d be left a little strip of ocean front property.

    • Posted by TJ (Shadowkire), at Reply

+José Guzman The Colorado River forms the border between California and

It also only provides half of southern California’s water during this
drought. Half of a desert-in-drought’s water.

If the US blocked us from that water we could just ban lawns and stop
watering the many many crops we export to feed the other states. The result
is all parts of California having more than enough water(even in drought)

The national government is essentially an imperialistic power ruling over

This should happen. The US is way too disfunctionnal as it is. It’s like
many country rolled up into one and it’s part of why nothing can get done.
There no reason for California to keep dragging the assbackward southern
state or to let itself be bogged down by the widespread corruption.

    • Posted by Lefty two guns, at Reply

The reason nothing gets done is because of too many cultures in one
      country, not geography.

    • Posted by ToxicAudri, at Reply

      +Lefty two guns

And that’s part of geography, the cultures of the southern states are
vastly different then the culture in California, the bible belt really
proves this, California doesn’t have a huge issue with laws that law makers
attempt to get passed or do get passed that have a clear religious agenda
behind them, mainly because California doesn’t have a super religious
culture pushing it unlike the bible belt.

California is very unique, a wide range of diverse cultures and people
exist in California and things can actually get done, as California proves
quite well, I would argue this is because California is so large and very
open minded overall, this vs the bible belt being very rigid and opposed to
diverse cultures and people, mostly for religious reasons, assuming a
secession is successful California can show in actual practice just what
could get done with plenty of different cultures and people existing in the
same place, something our government can’t or won’t do because there isn’t
any monetary gain involved, this would prove beyond a doubt to everyone
that the US government is incompetent either because of corruption or just
stupid partisan politics, maybe a bit of both.
