Do Trump’s cabinet picks have the right qualifications for the job? Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian, hosts of The Young Turks, break it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.

“On Tuesday night, Ta-Nehisi Coates made a guest appearance with Trevor Noah on “The Daily Show” to discuss “My President Was Black” — his brilliant reflection on the Obama presidency. On Wednesday, The Daily Show posted a memed quote from Coates that has been liked over 230,000 times.

It says this:

If I have to jump six feet to get the same thing that you have to jump two feet for — that’s how racism works.

To be President, Obama had to be scholarly, intelligent, President of the Harvard Law Review, the product of some of our greatest educational institutions, capable of talking to two different worlds.”

You think trump turds care about their education level, as if they even
    passed high school.

I have never understood the “Trump voters are stupid” argument. I have yet
to meet a smart Hillary *supporter*. I assume people get the idea all Trump
supporters are racist, rednecks who live in the south. Well, thats not
true. And if democrats don’t realize that within the next 4 years….just
say goodbye to another Democratic President before 2030.

Both Clinton and Trump supporters are/were idiots. They were both awful
candidates and their supporters couldn’t see the wool being pulled over
      their eyes.

Obama was a Hillary supporter…he has a law degree from Harvard…just
because you haven met an educated person doesn’t mean they don’t
exist….you might have to leave your small town in Iowa or whatever
      backwards state you are from…

    • Posted by Cody Green, at Reply

Ummm what? —Careful, your logic might hurt it…

    • Posted by jeff kennedy, at Reply

+Hillary For Prison those are highly debatable
Obamacare failed because it didn’t address the real problem of healthcare
which is the unreasonably high costs of treatments and drugs due to lack of
negotiation and regulation of prices. it’s not a coincidence that there are
more than a thousand lobbyists for pharmaceutical companies alone working
in D.C making sure they keep their monopoly on the market. it did however
provide coverage for 20 million people, including those with pre-existing
conditions that were denied in the previous system and children who became
able to stay on their parent’s health plan until they’re 26, among other
positive things. what obamacare proved is that you can’t make profit off of
healthcare without screwing people out of coverage and this half measure of
trying to please everybody (constumers and insurance companies) doesn’t
work, which is why insurance companies and republicans want to repeal it
      (not because it’s killing jobs)
ISIS is not obama’s doing, it’s a continuation of the US policies in the
middle east that have carried out since the 70’s in countries like iran,
iraq, pakistan, afghanistan, and recently syria, not to mention the never
ending mess between israel and palestine. you can blame obama for
continuing these policies (republicans blame him for not intervening more),
but he did manage to get a peace deal with iran that halted their nuclear
program, even if it’s going in flames with the new administration
Yes the national debt increased under obama, it’s been increasing since the
80’s, what else is new?. what you should be looking at is the deficit, how
much is it increasing by per year. obama inherited a deficit of 1.4
trillion in 2009 and managed to get it down to 500 billion. that’s what i
      meant by stopping the bleeding

have never mentioned anything about hacking, but i rather be apart of that
group than the fanatical alt right morons who belive in pizzagate without
proof, over something thats actually being investigated.

    • Posted by Dhruv Mistry, at Reply

+Knekten Didn’t Hillary say to accept the result when Trump said he
wouldn’t and move on, also how about Jill Stein’s recount said the same
thing about Russian hacking and how did that turn out for you. Also
remember how the CIA and the FBI are both headed by the democrats.

Ron Paul a person who has previously worked in the congress and is the
father of Rand Paul has come out and said
“I think they’re just agitating, because they lost the election. They’re
throwing out accusations and they have no proof. The same people who are
making all these charges, they didn’t seem to be worried a bit by the
secretary of state having a private server,” Paul said, “which made it much
easier for Russia or anybody else to know what was going on.”

Goldman Sachs has done a wonderful job with people’s money. So the
foreclosure king Mnuchin is extremely qualified to screw the people over.
Because that’s what this cabinet were all hired to do. These people are
only on scene to ensure the existing elite land on their feet when this
    dying system finally falls over.

    • Posted by Amy Sternheim, at Reply

    • Posted by roger Brownfield, at Reply

+Amy Sternheim Right. Americans consistently vote against their own
interests because they believe other people will do things for them. People
voted for Obama a second time after it was clear the health care plan was
really a tax. Trump is no different. People really want to believe he is
going to make the world better for them, even though it’s clear by now he
isn’t there for them at all.

YOU don’t want a well qualified doctor or surgeon, because you want to
    socialize medicine!!

And political donations are not tax deductible.

    • Posted by AnatomyNerd J, at Reply

Yup! With socialized medicine doctors don’t need to be trained anymore. Any
old schmoe can put on a white coat and do surgery. That’s EXACTLY what
      socialized medicine means…..

Idk about that, but they ARE an investment. Pay a politician a few
thousands of dollars to have them pass policies that would save them
      millions of dollars.
