It takes a base bilker to really represent a sleazy con man. Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, breaks it down. Inform us what you think in the remark area below.

" More than 15,000 Americans were shedding their tasks each day in June 2009, as the US battled to climb up from a painful recession following its worst economic dilemma in years.

However Jay Sekulow, who is currently an attorney to Donald Trump, had a personal jet to finance. His law practice was anticipating a $3m payday. And also six-figure contracts for participants of his household had to be cared for.

Documents obtained by the Guardian show Sekulow that month approved plans to press bad and jobless people to donate cash to his Christian nonprofit, which given that 2000 has actually steered more than $60m to Sekulow, his family and their companies." *.

Hey, TYT, where is the video of CNN saying the Russian conspiracy is a BS?

    • Posted by Alec Berube, at Reply

The Coffee Nut We are talking about an elaborate investigation where most (possibly) incriminating information is classified. Just because the FBI hasn’t released all of the information they have doesn’t mean it is BS. These investigations take time. It took a few years to impeach Nixon, if things are as they seem with Trump, the story is no different.

    • Posted by Jamison Cheney, at Reply

The Coffee Nut The “RUSSIAN” thing is about TRUMP Money Laundering for RUSSIAN JEWISH GANGSTERS

    • Posted by The Coffee Nut, at Reply

but what is the issue? Is it that Russia influenced the election? How? Hillary got more popular votes but lost swing states. What is it that Russia did that could have affected the election?

    • Posted by Alec Berube, at Reply

The Coffee Nut The hacking was elaborate and effective where it needed to be, given that Trump is now our president one way or the other. For the full overview, read this:

I think that whether or not you believe the hacking had an effect on the election, the concept that a hostile government would conduct attacks on our most celebrated democratic institution, our free and fair elections, should promote serious concern. As of today, President Trump has failed to even fully address the issue and instead has chosen to pretend that nothing even happened, that in itself should be telling.

    • Posted by The Coffee Nut, at Reply

But the main reason why Trump won was because of the swings states (which voted for Obama in the previous elections but switched to red).

disgusted1, What do you mean my type hates Atheists and gays? I’m not a Christian…as to hate, I don’t think the guy who said “love your enemies” advocates hate for anyone. As to Muslims, I have no problem with Muslims, but I don’t specifically like the ones who take their text literally… or Christian ones for that matter, even though at the present moment the Muslim ones are the ones doing the most damage.

    • Posted by Dachusblot, at Reply

Mike Hey look, I’m not gonna pretend I can live up to Jesus’s standards, OK. I’m willing to admit that I fall short. My only point was, don’t act as though being generous to the needy is just some random remark taken out of context, when it’s a central mandate throughout the Bible. You don’t get to dismiss it just to make yourself feel better.

Bible is full of figures of speech and metaphors.  Also words have different meaning because they are old words.  The word Unicorn is latin for single horn (Uni =Un or uno and corn = horn or something close).  It could be referring to a rhinoceros for all we know.  The fairytale Unicorn your are thinking of wasn’t invented until much time after that word was created.  So you can’t claim that the Bible supports fairytales.

    • Posted by Irving Ceron, at Reply

Mike Public, so you have never used a figure of speech ever in your life. I’m sorry, I should have known that non-literal language is mutually exclusive to edgy teenagers with cute atheist logos…

    • Posted by Bakemaster Koosh, at Reply

Napoleon Bonaparte you had to be wise to have been such a skilled tactician

    • Posted by Napoleon Bonaparte, at Reply

That’s because the only book I carried my Soldat was The Prince by Machiavelli. I in many ways am the embodiment of the ideals of Machiavelli. I read and admired Machiavelli. I respected Machiavelli’s “The Art of War”. “The Prince”, the manuscript was found in my carriage after the battle of Mont-Saint-Jean, 1815. The book consists of a new French translation of The Prince with my comments. Annotated excerpts from The Discourses are also included.I carried The Discourses with me on my campaigns; I outlined The History of Florence. In 1808 I ordered a special portable library of one thousand volumes, including The Discourses, which was to be used in the field. My library in the Trianon contained a nine volume edition of Machiavelli’s works. I turned to Machiavelli the military thinker for broad principles rather than for technical advice.War as a political instrument, the purpose of which is to defeat the enemy, is axiomatic for both thinker and soldier.
