Probus Excogitatoris why would you speak to me about pedophiliac actions? That is disgusting and I am going to report you for that. I know liberals are ok with incest but pedophilia is horrible!

You’re the ignorant one if you believe that. If they aren’t denied the health care then comes the huge bill for the treatment.

I’m the most cynical person I know, and even I’m stunned that right-wingers are attacking Kimmel. WTF is wrong with these people? This is one of those “Have you no decency?” moments in politics.

    • Posted by Insurance Casino, at Reply

It’s our money. Our tax money should be used for us, not for insurance companies. Right now our Government is going against the will of the people to make the insurance industry happy. This is a form of fascism? I wonder.

They complain about the left being PC police while trying to shut down talk show hosts for saying things they disagree with

    • Posted by Insurance Casino, at Reply

Yup, and Kimmel has a lot to lose. He’s a hero. What the right wing does not understand is the fact that it is our money that the politicians are playing with. Our money. If the Americans want singe payer, they should get single payer. It’s our tax money. WTF is going on? The insurance companies need to get out of Dodge. Nobody wants them anymore.

i feel like reminding people that car insurance is mandatory in all but 2 states and most americans can choose to get a car or not. but health insurance something that should be the priority because you never know when and if your heath could take a turn for the worst is not mandatory. we have messed up priorities.

    • Posted by Nelson Escobar, at Reply

You hit that right in the nail. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

    • Posted by SirArghPirate, at Reply

rouge1ful In my country a car insurance that covers damage to other people and property is mandatory, but insurance that covers damage to own vehicle is optional. Health insurance here is to cover loss of income after accidents, while treatment is paid for by the state. That’s the way it should be.

    • Posted by sdkeller72, at Reply

Banks back the notes on most our cars, so they make sure we have insurance. So if we want single payer system, we have to sign our bodies over the banks and then they’ll make sure we have health insurance. 😉

    • Posted by dutchman063, at Reply

I agree companys raise our rates to offset fraud and “increased accidents”…but Geico also raises their premiums so much because they trick you into buying their insurance at a low rate then they quickly raise it back up to “normal” high levels

Sorry, right wing morons (libertarians and right-leaning “independents” this includes you), if you think kids should die for your free market fundamentalist ideology, then you are a reprehensible human being. This isn’t about being guided by emotions either. Every quantifiable cold hard fact points out that universal health care coverage is cheaper, more efficient, and more effective than the system America has now!

This same concept applies to when Bill Clinton took power in the United States with the New Democrats and the Democratic Leadership Council. *It was basically a right-wing revolution that absolutely **_destroyed_** any claim that the now nominally left-of-center political party had to being **_truly_** left-of-center!*

Right wing politicians have brainwashed this country into thinking you have to be one of them to be political, the whole point of democracy is EVERYONE can participate the political process, not to mention the overwhelming majority of the American people want single payer healthcare just like EVERY other industrialized country on earth.

    • Posted by Kaitlin mason, at Reply

ok lets look at Australias universal (not single payer) health care it costs less then half as much in taxes (per capita) then the US but everyone is covered so what is this cost argument?

    • Posted by Tony Stark, at Reply

+Kaitlin mason Exactly this, it has long been proven government run healthcare actually saves way more money than private controlled healthcare, thats what happens when you cut off the price gouging middle man, that’s business and logic 101
