I don’t see a judicial ruling as a place to make a joke. The judges words are law when it comes to a sentance, so these people could easily feel they have to or risk contempt. How is that a joke?

I thought judge’s were smart? What happened here?

My first thought was that it was a joke…. She said “Mr. Trump.” It reminded me of that Hispanic lady who said, “I vote for Mr. Trump!!!!” “We support Mr. Trump….. all the way to the White House.”

Restoring voting rights to felons actually is an important cause and it is a shame she politicized it.

People are only fooling themselves in the usa, MAJORITY of whites voted for Trump, that’s just the fact, if you remove the votes of minorities, you’ll find that less than 30% of whites voted for Hillary, that’s just the fact.

OK, I believe in freedom of speech on the judges part. She did not label him as a fellon to take away his right go vote, or carry a weapon and may even have secretly put him under the experimental “gangstalking” “community policing” program for such light of a sentence. Think Constitution. Most of it is gone.

In neither of the examples given did the judge “tell defendants to vote Trump”. She said that the defendants could follow instructions and “be able” to vote for Trump. There’s a diffference. Still, probably not the best thing to say as a judge.

Please understand this Judge was not saying you have to vote for Trump to receive a reduced sentence. She was saying that the reduced sentence she is handing out includes retaining voting privileges. It is improper to tell people to vote for Trump but it is not corrupt. She’s not going to reverse the sentence if people don’t vote Trump in 2020. The funny thing is many right wingers are actually on board with progressive viewpoints if you would just stop shaming people for things they say that are ultimately meaningless.
