Explain, are you asserting that successful people shouldn’t get a tax break only the unsuccessful?
You people sound like that kid who has a bucket full of candy from trick or treating who starts crying and screaming about it being unfair that his brother has more and the reason his brother has more is because he walked an extra 3 blocks.

    • Posted by Hoefledorf, at Reply

What you are saying has nothing to do with the subject.
Politicians should never get benefits from the people, specially filthy rich ones, and that’s what we are seeing here. Plutocracy as its best, when the rich run the government!!!
It has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO with the not so rich being jealous of the “successful”… As you say…
Apparently, having lots of money, it’s the definition of happiness and success for you!!!
I have met a lot of filthy rich people that are nothing but bums… I wouldn’t like to like their miserable lives…
I guess they got the wrong ideas from their parents who taught them that money equals happiness.
Unfortunately life will teach them a lesson and they will learn the hard way…
I know there are a lot of rich people who are happy, but the greedy ones, for sure, are not…
      I have seen it A LOT….

You’re subservient to your abusers. Americans are cowards first and foremost.

*How come fake news TYT hasn’t told you all how much they will be saving in taxes? And how come they haven’t announced they will be donating all their tax savings to any of the social programs they cry about?*

    • Posted by CountJimbo, at Reply

      v poor logic

    • Posted by Stefán Örvar Sigmundsson, at Reply

TYT isn’t a multibillion dollar business. They may save something but since most of the people who work there, whose job it is to speak out, aren’t rich they’ll see it hit them harder when social benefits people have come to expect in modern cilvilised societies are reduced or eliminated.
One can disagree with a tax cut, fight it but still keep whatever short-term benefit it grants. Why would they handicap themselves when the elite are building up their wealth? Social programmes aren’t funded by charitable donations but by, you guessed it, taxes. Your comment is, as usual, void of intellectual honesty.

    • Posted by Stefán Örvar Sigmundsson, at Reply

Stop the hammering!!: Net worth is not the same as cold hard cash and most of the voices on TYT are middle class people. What sort of logic is that though? You can’t speak out against the corrupt unless you bankrupt yourself? Because I worked hard to have a home, I can’t speak out against those who steal other people’s homes? The world would be in a far sorrier state if everybody thought as you do.

Billionaires like the kochs are so detached from normal everyday people that they don’t realize the game is already over in one way or another. The reason Trump was elected was because Hillary was a corporate shill and only appeared to be progressive. What happened? People saw right through that and voted for Trump thinking that since he was an outsider, he wasn’t owned by corporate interests. He’s a billionaire and he’s ruthless so of course he was for the tax cuts and everything else that will benefit the wealthiest like deregulation, privatized healthcare, and the pointless war on drugs. Corporate interests are not aligned with the peoples best interests. At this point, it doesn’t matter how much money the elites put into advertisement propaganda in an attempt to keep both sides preoccupied with unproductive squabbling. The revolution has started and the pitchforks are coming!
