The GOP claims to be the Party of Gawd. Yet it is clueless, heartless, and gutless…IfJesus were to climb down from the cross, get a haircut and a shave, throw on an expensive suit, and then announce to America that he was running for president, the Republicans would stand against every policy position that Jesus fought for…..

7 and a half years and counting, of preparing a healthcare that is better than obamacare… gop has no intention of making sure sick people will get medical help when they need it

    • Posted by Kevin Montrond, at Reply

someone tell me why we can’t have a single payer. would it be because republicans are afraid that the insurance companies won’t make any money to pad their pockets.

    • Posted by Anthony Harden, at Reply

888strummer and what is republicans currently doing with majority genius?

    • Posted by Carol L, at Reply

Anthony Harden I’ll go further on what you said. Why should we be forced to buy insurance? I want health CARE, not health INSURANCE.

    • Posted by Anthony Harden, at Reply

Carol L right, I pay for Medicare but the Russians I mean republicans won’t allow it. because they are so busy trying to make money for the insurance companies.

I am on Medicaid and am worried.

    • Posted by Vamphaery, at Reply

Likewise. Literally the only coverage I have.

    • Posted by givemeinformation, at Reply

It sickens me that anyone should worry about their health coverage. I pay my taxes just like everyone else and would love to see Medicaid expanded. Who knows? I may lose my job one day and have nothing to show for it. With nothing to fall back on. Same as literally anyone. I pay into Medicaid and I should have a safety net.

How in the Hell can trump (or any Republican) win reelection if he throws half his voter base off of their healthcare coverage

    • Posted by Gabe Neal, at Reply

Jack Kerouac they’ll blame Obama, and the voters won’t question it 🙂

trump is doing 2 things with this destroy america and destroy the GOP chances for re election or ever crawling back from the far right to be a option in election

    • Posted by bandholm, at Reply

“destroy america”… at least for the poor, what the result will be is anybody’s guess.
“destroy the GOP chances”… I don’t think so! Trump (despite everything) still holds the confidence of more than 30% of Americans… 30%… This means people no longer care about issues, not even issues that directly affects them. They don’t question, they follow, and it seems that there aren’t anything that will change that mentality.

Btw, this is also a problem on the left!
