Mitch McConnell is an existing snake … err … turtle. Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, breaks it down. Tell us what you assume in the remark area below.

" Mitch McConnell is delivering an urgent warning to staffers, Republican politician senators as well as the president himself: If Obamacare abolition fails today, the GOP will certainly lose all utilize and also be compelled to work with Chuck Schumer.

President Donald Trump continuouslied drift the opportunity on Monday that Congress and the White House would just allow Obamacare's individual markets collapse if the GOP's abolition effort decreases later on today. But McConnell called up Trump lately, according to people with understanding of the phone call, to supply a truth check.

Citizens anticipate Republicans to supply on their long-held guarantee to repeal the regulation, McConnell stated, inning accordance with those individuals. As well as failing to rescind the regulation would certainly indicate the GOP would certainly shed its chance to do a partisan reword of the law that might downsize Medicaid investing, cut Obamacare's tax obligations and reverse a host of market requireds.

Instead, Republicans would be forced to enter into bipartisan settlements with Democrats to save falling short insurance policy markets." *.

It can’t fail so long as the government continues to pump massive amounts of money into it. That’s about to end though, and the freeloading parasites are finally going to have to get off their butts, quick smoking pot, and go to work to pay their own way. Poor babies.

Hugh Janus gee isn’t a bit racist. I hope you can look forward to that 175 percent premium increase with your trumpcare once you hit 55. But then again you may come from one of those red opioid ridden states where everything’s just peachy in dreamland.

Hugh Janus. Freeloaders? It’s our tax dollars, and That’s exactly where most Americans want them going.
Most Americans are not getting a tax break from this bill, or having rates lowered. It’s only for the richest 2%
Your party sux. Republicans only care about the wealthiest. Democrats don’t do this, They are better.

    • Posted by Mike Samra, at Reply

Excuse me! I have stocks and I’m not rich but I see the reality of what’s going on. I would say give the corporate tax rate of 15% with no deductions and if they don’t abide by it,put the back on the old tax system.I would also tell them to get this tax rate they have to build and expand in the US. Corporations pay taxes because stock holders are the owners and we all pay tax on our dividends.

Why isn’t there more reporting on all the ways the GOP and Trump have been SABOTAGING the ACA just to claim it’s failing later. The sabotaging has been going on since the ACA was passed.
President Obama should have never given the GOP any input-we would have had a better ACA.
Obama never quite got that the GOP never intended to do anything that would help the nation if he was going to get credit for it or Democrats would get credit for it.
The GOP don’t consider people at all when making decisions. They count on Republicans blindly voting for them no matter how much their constituents are screwed over by the GOP.
Sprinkle in some nationalism, mention Jesus a few times, talk about liberal wanting your guns and add xenophobic rhetoric——thats the recipe for GOP campaigning.

There are legit criticism of Obamacare that this bill doesn’t address. Rand Paul again is one of the most sensible people on this.

    • Posted by vick3d, at Reply

Rand mentioned allowing different types of insurance to be offered to different groups. Men paying for insurance covering maternity care, or young people needing to pay for colonoscopy or other ‘old people’ coverage is just a bureaucratic roadblock. Not even saying Rand’s ideas would provide the best outcome, but they’re at least ideas to work with rather than the crap McConnell is pushing.

Kentucky is the 2nd most dependent state in the nation in terms of federal aid. Yet they vote for right wing fucks like McConnell and Rand Paul. If this bill passes hopefully it will affect Kentucky enough to give those fools a wakeup call like in Kansas.

    • Posted by Sharon Knight, at Reply

Not all Kentuckians voted for either of them, I live in Ky. I have NEVER voted for the turtle and never will. I am trying to push Single Payer Healthcare. This what I say
We need Single Payer Healthcare. I’ve been talking to people from Canada who have it and love it. They say it is far better medical care at a far cheaper cost. Most are quoting around $300.00 a YEAR!!! If our politicians want massive cuts in healthcare they need to take insurance companies out of Healthcare, that would save us more money they are planning to cut.
…Just think about how much money insurance companies charge us that isn’t even used for our medical expenses. CEO’s who make hundreds of millions of dollars a year in salaries plus millions in bonuses, having skyscrapers and other buildings built (none of which are cheap), lobbyist, campaign donations, shareholders who expect big dividends, offices expenses, employees salaries, rental fees for properties and vehicles, advertising, sponsoring people, equipment, vehicles and sports events and who know what else. That doesn’t leave much for our healthcare.
If we had Single Payer Healthcare we could cut out all the insurances companies’ expenses and only pay for our Healthcare.
We need to tell all of our Politicians that we not only don’t want AHCA, We want Single Payer Healthcare and will accept no less.

Wait wait wait… So Mitch. Mitcheh…. Buddy…. If you fail at Sabotaging the Other Side’s Legislation, you will have to negotiate with the Other Side… Kind of like the Founding Father’s intended there to be a Debate over what is Best for the Country? Isn’t a Debate between the sides, Liberal and Conservative, how the entire Senate is supposed to Work? I mean… If you read the Magna Carta, The Declaration, or the Constitution sure. That’s how Democracy works… But… Beyond those three minor documents to our country’s existence… No biggie…
