" SEOUL, South Korea– North Korea will send out a delegation of authorities and also athletes to next month's Wintertime Olympic Gamings in South Korea, it was introduced Tuesday after the very first top-level talks between the nations in more than 2 years.

The two nations also agreed to hold military talks focused on reducing bitterness along their strained boundary and also to "actively comply" in the Games, which open up on Feb. 9 in PyeongChang some 50 miles from the boundary.

The delicate conversations, held in Panmunjom, in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), were shut to outside observers.

" We have high assumptions that the Olympics turn out to be a tranquility festival with special guests from the North," stated South Korea's unification preacher, Cho Myoung-gyon." *.

Now it’s time for Israel and Palestine to work something out.

We won’t discuss anything with invaders but only to destroy them

    • Posted by Simon Winn, at Reply

Palestine has promised the destruction of Israel, there will no peace deal. The talks have been on and off for nearly a century and gotten no where.

    • Posted by Ralph Bernhard, at Reply

Bill Anderson That will only work if Trump’s actions threaten to end the existence of BOTH parties, like a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula…
As far as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is concerned, Trump (or the US in general) is vastly pro-Israel.
Only if the wealth and lives of BOTH sides are threatened, will they unite against an outside power.

i think that yahweh/allah would have to come down from the heavens and in a loud and angry voice command them to make peace with each other or face eternal damnation in order for that to happen at this point. either that or destroy each other and the survivors pick up the pieces and start over.

And of course Trump takes credit for this.. 😒 Absolutely no shame from that idiot.. Oh, Trump will try and ruin it.. He ruins much of what he touches..

“I give President Trump huge credit for bringing about the inter-Korean talks, and I’d like to thank him for that,” Moon said at a news conference in Seoul.

Moon’s remark came in response to a question about Trump’s Saturday tweet that the talks were taking place because he was “firm, strong and willing to commit our total ‘might’ against the North.”
      It was Trump. Accept it.

    • Posted by Simon Winn, at Reply

Trump: Hey North Korea, you see this big button, it works, now shake hands with South Korea.
      Kim: Yes Sir.

    • Posted by Edward Bernayse666, at Reply

he actually does deserve some credit for it. he and tillerson were putting pressure on china and russia to step in and put pressure on NK to go have talks with the south. the north would’ve never agreed to it if any western country, especially the USA directly petitioned them to do it but china and russia did have that kind of influence and so they were the middlemen and the south didn’t need any convincing for that. it was in the whole world’s vested interest for those talks to happen. really a lot of people deserve credit for it but trump does in fact deserve to be one of those mentioned.

    • Posted by Edward Bernayse666, at Reply

we technically weren’t “shut out.” in a way we were but really china and russia were like the middlemen pressuring NK to hold talks with SK because it was in everybody’s best vested interest that they do so and NK would’ve never agreed to it if the USA or any other western countries put the pressure on them to do it.

Reaching an agreement with each other is better than dealing with Trump.

  5. Posted by Chad Austin, at Reply

I feel like this is one thing Trump can take credit for. While he’s acting like the drunk at the party picking fights, North and South Korea were forced to sneak off to a corner and make up to avoid getting vomit on their shoes.

    • Posted by Nurlinda F Sihotang, at Reply

+Pissed Off we already did. and oh boy, how china gets the biggest laugh while japan, phillipine and south korea get the searing talk “keep your nutjob ally in reign!” from their asian neighbour.

    • Posted by Nurlinda F Sihotang, at Reply

+Antemurale Christianitatis yep. and US as common enemies. globally mind you.

    • Posted by Edward Bernayse666, at Reply

i’ll give him some credit. that’s what trump and tillerson have been talking to china and russia about. they needed them to put pressure on the north to do these talks and since they were all in agreement that it should happen, they were able to get the north to agree to it. plus trump calling their bluff helped as well.

    • Posted by Sejez, at Reply

Haha, Nurlinda. You’re just projecting your hatred for your country.

Glad the south realized it was best to take matters into their own hands, rather than trusting in the war mongering stable genius.

    • Posted by Prof. Weed, at Reply

Ronnie Dodson They always hold talks before the Olympics. It’s a means for North Korea to get concessions and for South Korea to ease the worries of foreign investors. This nuclear drama in mostly taken as face value by Americans and North Koreans as their government use one another to fabricate consent for their military first policies. Fact is, North Korea does not need nuclear weapons as China is bound by treaty to protect its ally.

    • Posted by Edward Bernayse666, at Reply

technically that isn’t at all what happened but…….

  7. Posted by SaiyanZ Entertainment, at Reply

    Only happened because of Trump

    • Posted by Hamfists Man, at Reply

If it is a trick by North Korea are still going to give Trump the credit? I doubt it. You will quickly pass the blame.

    • Posted by SaiyanZ Entertainment, at Reply

Hamfists Man Trump had to handle North Korea with nukes

    • Posted by Edward Bernayse666, at Reply

actually it was a combination of pressure from all powers including russia and china because it was in everybody’s vested interest that they meet. i’l give trump credit for calling kim un fat boy’s bluff but credit also goes to tillerson and china and russia.

  8. Posted by Twiistz, at Reply

What if this was all planned for a future United Korea, armed with nukes? South Korea is the economic arm and North Korea is the military arm. I believe if anyone can pull off a StarCraft tactic like that, it’d be the Koreans.

    • Posted by ABCD ABCD, at Reply

Twiistz In that sense they might pose as a deterrent with questionable nuclear capabilities, but everything else is a joke militarily.

we thankyou for your Trump. making us sure that US and its allies are buch of nutjobs

    • Posted by Edward Bernayse666, at Reply

one side would have to completely abandon their political and social ideologies in order for that to happen. i don’t think the SK government or it’s people are eager to abandon their system for NK’s style and i don’t see the NK government ready to budge either.

    • Posted by Edward Bernayse666, at Reply

they will probably unite in some future generation but the north will be putting up the white flag and becominog more like south korea when that happens. i also don’t think that NK will be much of a military power either. it will be more like when east germany united with west germany and adopted the western german style of democracy and economics.

    Trump- hold my beer.

    • Posted by MusicByJC, at Reply

True. North Korea is trying to remove US influence from South Korea. Cut the US out of the picture. I agree that it is because of the idiot that Trump is. Remember, North Korea isn’t threatening South Korea. They were threatening US because we have a President who is all talk and no action. Little Kim, has now successfully diminished US influence. South Koreans don’t live in fear that North Korea is going to invade them. They are more scared that Trump will do something stupid, which is what he does best. So, they have decided to talk at cut him out. Now, issues between North Korea and US won’t affect South Korea.

    • Posted by Soulkun13, at Reply

      @deenman23
No you idiot, Trump had nothing to do with this. It was China and Russia that got them to speak to each other, you can look up the press conference on youtube if you dont believe me

    • Posted by Nurlinda F Sihotang, at Reply

believe me. the more trump or nut job in chief tries to meddle to the korea peace talk, it only would solidify asia..AGAINTS US. and the CIA better not thinking pulling another “operation iceberg” now. we wont ends up like middle east. it would be US and allies (if any was left) againts asia next time. even europe stayed away, asia was their meanest ex collonies afterall.

    • Posted by Edward Bernayse666, at Reply

@soulkun13 the USA was the ones talking to china and russia about this though. they all knew that the north would never agree to it if the USA petitioned them directly. they needed friendly countries to the north like china and russia to put the pressure on them directly. that’s what really happened.

I love how the US government always say they have exhausted all options with NK and they have tried everything. YES! Everything but sit down on a table like N. and S. Korea just did and talk.

actually, they would. afterall they are related and not seperated because of their own will, but because US and allies decided to “chop them up” to 2 part. take out US and allies out of the equation, voila!

    • Posted by Nurlinda F Sihotang, at Reply

+ricky spanish at least Soviet (now russia) know when to back off if their “help” was not wanted and shut up. :v

    • Posted by Edward Bernayse666, at Reply

actually what happened was that trump and tillerson got china and russia to agree to pressure NK into doing these talks. SK didn’t need any convincing. no western country could’ve directly pressured NK to agree to meet with the south and so everybody needed them to put the pressure on the north. still trump was involved and so he is one of the players deserving of some credit. calling kim un fat boy’s bluff also helped.
