Former New york city gubernatorial prospect Carl Paladino is in warm water after publicly uploading racist comments on Facebook. Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian, John Iadarola, and also Elegance Baldridge, hosts of The Young Turks, go over. Inform us what you assume in the comment section below.

" When the Buffalo School Board elected Thursday to ask State Education Commissioner MaryEllen Elia to remove Carl P. Paladino from the panel, it moved the worry of making that questionable decision off its own shoulders.

The board can have voted to remove Paladino for official transgression, as other boards have done in the past. Rather, it offered Paladino 1 Day to surrender before it will ask the commissioner to step in.

Currently, Elia finds herself in the middle of a politically charged circumstance where she will need to identify whether Paladino's remarks concerning Head of state Obama and also the first lady were so horrendous that they fulfill the legal criteria for removing a chosen official. In an article for Artvoice, Paladino said he wished Obama would pass away of crazy cow disease and said Michelle Obama must deal with a gorilla.

One former participant of the Buffalo College Board believes the decision ought to be made in your area." *.

The left took the place of the religious right as being autistic moral
arbitors of society. “RACIST!” is the new “SATANIST!”

Epicenter America doesn’t have an open door immigration policy. You are
not being over-run with foreigners. You are so racist and dumb you believe
Fox news and right wing radio and websites. It’s all in your mind; its just
      paranoia.

A wop from New York who is racist….what a shocker…

    • Posted by Lord Starscream, at Reply

It is a shocker. It’s usually Southern people who are racist. They’re not
all racist but most Southern people are racist. It’s rare to see a city guy
be racist since they’re suppose to be smarter than low IQ Southern people.

Seems similar to the “All I want for Christmas is white genocide” story,
only about two individuals rather than an ethnic group.

I don’t know what the consequences for education officials exercising their
free speech whilst bringing their respective institutions into disrepute
should be but the consequences should be similar.

    • Posted by Goddess .FourWinds, at Reply

The Christmas guy wasn’t attacking individual people. He was making a
comment about a group. And he wasn’t inciting a riot. How many times have
you heard people say they’d like to wipe out the MIddle East? What happened
to them? Nothing. I’m sure if a teacher said he’d like to get rid of
religious extremists or all the wars in the Middle East, no one would care.
It’s the fact that he said “white” that people are bothered, which is the
point. We can talk about Mexicans and Muslims, but how dare we talk about
white people. It’s a philosophical statement. And it fits in with what he’s
teaching his students. Which the school has approved, last I heard.

Grace, you’re a lesbian. You should know there’s no understanding for these
    people, they don’t deserve it.

    • Posted by Voeris, at Reply

As LGBTQ, there should be no remorse for Alt-Right racist conservitards who
deem homosexuality a “mental illness”. Why is this shocking to you?

  8. Posted by FLCOM1, at Reply

I read his comments and as bad as they are, he didn’t really say anything
racist. He didn’t actually call Michelle Obama a gorilla as TYT claimed in
the first video. He said she should go live with gorillas. I’m not
defending his comments but TYT shouldn’t twist his words and just report it
    honestly.

I think he totally meant it, after his son condemned him he doubled down.
The backlash has scared him and now he is backpedalling.

  12. Posted by Brandon, at Reply

He is an elected official, it is the voter’s job to kick him out, not the
commissioner. He has free speech. The government cannot take action
against him but the voters can.

  13. Posted by Okaro X, at Reply

So what if he is a racist? What he does in his job is what counts.

    • Posted by Smalls McGogg, at Reply

Well, if he is indeed racist (which his remarks would lead me to believe he
most certainly is), that means it CAN affect how he does his job. That
means he will use his racism/bias to make sure students who are minority do
not receive the same quality of education or resources that the
non-minority students receive. It means inequality will continue and that’s
not right, especially for someone working in a public office position. It
has to be fair across the board and when you’re racist and carry those
views, fairness will not be doled out equally. I’m sure you knew that
      though.
