Institutionalised racism has a price $$$ ! Not only do you pay billions in police brutality settlements but it also cost $1 trillion a year to maintain mass incarseration.

If US was racist they wouldn’t pay … Leftists are retards

    • Posted by Xpuppetman07X, at Reply

Its not institutionalised racism. Just a minority race causing the most crime in the country. The cops reaction is expected. I would have done worse..

    • Posted by bryan ward, at Reply

+Xpuppetman07X you may want to actually do some research, whites commit the most crime period due to their numbers lol you would know that if you opened a book

While not all cop shootings are unjustified, cops are way too above the law and get away with a lot

Police protect the rich, not the people, they listen to orders from wealthy powerful people, and their message is demonize and criminalize the poor.
and I say this as an Oregon marijuana worker, my very job is against federal law, because they incriminate poor people everywhere else for having it.

You would save FAR more money if you train cops more and prevented them from killing unarmed innocents. The Rate is far higher than Europe because their cops are trained.

Alot of them know we have police brutality. They just dont see a problem with it.

    • Posted by skillcoiler, at Reply

Do not resist police and 99.99999999% of the time you will not be brutalized regardless of race.

    • Posted by Xpuppetman07X, at Reply

Europe doesn’t have criminal blacks that commit over 50% of all murders and robberies though…

    • Posted by loki2240, at Reply

Whistling K9 – He should’ve been convicted of manslaughter. And civil liability has a lower burden of proof (preponderance of the evidence versus beyond a reasonable doubt for criminal culpability).

the city settled with cash because they clearly saw wrong doing. clearly they wanted to make it go away. any prolonged fight would have cost the city far more

    • Posted by skillcoiler, at Reply

+loki2240 Says you but the legal system that actually HAD THE EVIDENCE OF WHAT HAPPENED disagrees with you.

First World Nation USA no different from police in Third World Dictatorships.
    Clean your own house first.

Harrr Butte … So your defence of the US police force is to say “well their better than a third world countries police force” ? That`s a very sad defence and says volumes for how you see the US police..
Your police should be of the highest standard and not thrown onto the streets with very little training, training in how to de-escalate to “protest and serve” and not just how to blow people away..

You’re seriously comparing South Africa to the USA? LMAO! Why do South Africans HAVE TO HIRE civilians as security guards??? Tell me that XD My sister has lived in South Africa for about a decade, I’m not a person who is ignorant about ZA. Tell me about the xenophobia there also ๐Ÿ™‚

“And you already know how that turns out.”
You’re really buying the media’s narrative about police? TYT are apart of the alt left BS factory. There is no epidemic of police killing black people, it’s an election year… If you take the number of all races that are killed by the police every year and multiply it by 2, it still wouldn’t equal the number of deaths that are caused by people falling inside of their own house and dying accidentally.Look at the numbers, police don’t go gunning down black people daily, it’s BS. In the US you couldn’t be safer. Now about South Africa, you guys are the rape capital of the world, and possibly the baby rape capital as well.

I like TYT, but when they peddle their “f$%$ white people!!! and f#$% the police!!!” I don’t care for it and call them out on it. Can I ask you, have you ever wondered why the US media won’t hardly report on black on white crime? It happens quite frequently and never gets aired, there’s been many black mobs beating up people and not much of a word on it. There are narratives being pushed. and no, I’m not a Trump supporter, republican, white supremacist, etc…

Originally, I wasn’t the person making the comparison di^kface ๐Ÿ™‚
By any chance are you from the US? Do you know what it’s like here? By your use of the “c” in defense I’m guessing you’re not. Why do you foreign f$ckfaces want to push this BS narrative that the police are so bad here? They’re not, it’s very safe in the US, unless you live in Chicago or a Detroit ghetto. This is liberal BS propaganda, it’s an election year. US police are not a problem, a few instances of police acting badly or screwing up in a country of over 300 million people is not a big deal. US police set the standard for how to handle things correctly so take your SJW BS and stick it up your foreign arse.

“Sorry we killed your son but here is a 3 million dollar settlement for his life. In exchange the cop who killed him wont get any jail time”

    • Posted by Gloria Gracey, at Reply

They’re basically putting a price on peoples lives. Sick.

  9. Posted by klondike444, at Reply

If a cop knew that a hefty part of a brutality settlement would *come out of his own pocket* it might cause him to pause before kicking a helpless man in the head.

  10. Posted by Cadmus, at Reply

No wonder the cops abuse their authority since tax payer money is used to settle their crimes against the citizens of their own country. *Insane!!!*

  11. Posted by ltabbins02, at Reply

Make the cops pay. If they can’t pay, garnish the wages of them and their family for generations until they are pushed into perpetual poverty lol

  12. Posted by Luna vampire, at Reply

This is disgusting a waste of human life by the hand of people who are supposed to protect us and every time this happens there is almost no justice being served, and the family of those people has to settle their murder in money instead of the persons who taken a life of their loved one in jail and for the government and other people in power allowing and accepting this are monster also. Through time and time again they care about money, not the citizen and they want this to continue. What happens if you saw or heard that one of your family or someone you know and love got murder by a cop for no reason?

    • Posted by Stryker A. Wolfe, at Reply

Luna vampire This is why I support citizens being allowed to choose where our tax dollars go. There should be check boxes for education, emergency, city utilities, and one for law enforcement. Let’s how these pigs act when their pay decreases because nobody wants to support them.

*Police officers and their respective departments should have been the ones who foot the bill NOT the taxpayers. Whatever happen to taking responsibility for your actions*?

    • Posted by WikeddTung, at Reply

I’ve said it before and I’ll continue to say it until it happens; if we really want to do something about police brutality we need to pass legislation that makes settlements and judgements that result from civil suits brought against police departments come out of police pensions and union coffers before taxpayers have to pay out one dime.

A small but significant percentage of the settlement/judgement, say 15% or 20% needs to be paid straight out of police pension funds and/or union coffers FIRST before the taxpayers have to pick up the slack. Hit ’em where it hurts and you’ll suddenly see them use tasers, batons, deescalation and good judgement before resorting to violence and guns.
