Todd Coontz has been scamming his followers for years yet he should not have actually cheated the federal government as well. Cenk Uygur as well as Ana Kasparian, the hosts of The Young Turks, simplify. Inform us exactly what you assume in the remark area below.

" A former Charlotte "prosperity gospel" preacher that has a garage loaded with costly international autos and lives in a million dollar condominium was arraigned on multiple matters of government tax obligation scams this week, reports the Charlotte Onlooker.

William Todd Coontz, 50, previously a preacher at the Rock Wealth International Ministries, and currently living in Florida, is implicated of joining a check-cashing plan involving traveling repayments for speaking appearances and also for publication sales– and then filing deceptive income tax return in order to hide the cash.

" This is a classic instance of 'Do as I claim, not as I do,'" explained UNITED STATE Lawyer Jill Rose. "As a priest, Coontz taught about receiving and also managing riches, yet he stopped working to keep his very own financial resources in order. Coontz will certainly now get a first-hand lesson in 'providing unto Caesar' that which is due."

Christian "success scripture" preachers encourage their group to add greatly to the ministry with the pledge that God will return their tithing multiplied bring about fantastic wealth.

HBO host John Oliver memorably revealed the illegal success gospel fraud in 2015, presuming regarding set up his own (phony) church, called "Our Girl of Perpetual Exception."

Christianity is just as bad as Islam, the only reason it seems better is because it has been dragged into the 21st century by secular governments, many Christians would love to live under Christian Sharia Law

Stephen Hill I am a Mexican American, part white, part Latino, and I voted for the guy. He has time and time again wanted to bring back or create new jobs, so the minority, like me can have work. It saddens me seeing that Big Goverment for the longest time got other minorities, like the Black and Mexican on Welfare. This man, doesn’t care if you’re white, black, brown or what have you, if you’re legal or born here, he wants you to have a job and not someone who is here illegally (Mexican, Canadian, British illegals etc). I just saw through the Liberal bullshit and saw the biased media for what it was and that they were trying to create a race war.

    • Posted by Gregory Williams, at Reply

AJ Harper dude why would liberals want to start a race war. Liberals are for gun control. Liberals are for increase in minimum wage, liberals are for health-care for all, liberals are for affordable housing. So think about it before you swallow the kool- aid. Have a nice day.

    • Posted by AJ Harper, at Reply

Gregory Williams because I’ve seen way to many instances of “oh the poor minorities” or when the media covers the BLM they want to shame whites left and right and often edit the violent comments from the BLM movement completely. I have instances that I could look up for you so you could see that I’m not making BS up. Maybe you should stop drinking the kool-aid from your side and actually investigate before taking mainstream News Outlets words for it. I know you may not want to start a race war, but others such as politicians do.

    The Bible: Matthew 19:21

Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

    • Posted by Jeremy S, at Reply

Travis, those verses were pretty reasonable up until it tells you to cut of your wife’s without pity for interfering with a fight between men. Also,

“Wives, be subject to your husbands as you are to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife just as Christ is the head of the church.” 1 Corinthians 14:34-35

“Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak… And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home.” 1 Timothy 2:13-15

And there’s that holsome verse that commands you to stone your wife to death for adultery. You can cherry pick acceptable verses, but in the end, the bible is just as barbaric as the Quran.

    • Posted by alieninthecaribbean, at Reply

Christians will weasel their way out of following that verse literally by saying Jesus was not talking to them in modern times but to a rich man back in Palestine. Then they do a 180 when it comes to verses they can take out of context to oppress women or gays and say it is for all Christians and modern times not just the specific people Paul was writing to back then.

    • Posted by Mike Stevens, at Reply

alieninthecaribbean These verses about the rich young man has as much relevance today as when Jesus taught about 2,000 years ago. And with all others verses must be learned in context.

It’s easier for camel to fit thru the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter Heaven. I forgot were I heard that.πŸ€”

    • Posted by Zain Asif, at Reply

Wyyrdo Jim No the camel through the needles eye verse belongs to us brother.

      Quran 7:40
To those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogance, no opening will there be of the gates of heaven, nor will they enter the garden, until the camel can pass through the eye of the needle: Such is Our reward for those in sin.

However it’s in our tradition also that the poor will enter paradise before the Rich.

Through another chain narrated by Ath-Thauree, Abu Hurairah (Radhiyallaahu β€˜anhu) related that the Messenger of Allah (Sallallaahu β€˜alahi wa sallam) said, “Indeed, the poor believers will enter Paradise half a day before the rich (believers), and that is 500 years (from this world).”

Sad thing is people who gave this motherfucker money will never learn. They never do. They’ll just find another charlatan to steal them blind of their money.

    • Posted by liquidminds, at Reply

there’s a reason all of those churches tell you that you have to want to believe to “feel it”. They want to get rid of any skeptics early on, so that the gullible remain. Then make your “community” close, so they don’t get into contact with normal people unless they are so deeply indoctrinated, that any normal conversation will result in them having to defend their ridiculous belief, forging the bond to the church.

Churches are the way they are for a reason. What they disguise as tradition is actually a centuries old method of brainwashing people and binding them to a church that then goes on to control them.

Religion vs. Politics is the eternal war over who gets to control the people. Neither has given up yet.
