They thought everyone would be cool with healthcare being cut so billionaires can get more tax cuts. Only a trumptard would be ok with stabbing himself in the balls.

    • Posted by Y2K, at Reply

Of course, they’d have to have a pair to be able to stab themselves in the balls.

    • Posted by OutlawRebel117, at Reply

Kevin Montrond Since when did Trumpards, or indeed, *any* Repussycan ever have any balls to stab?

    • Posted by rouge1ful, at Reply

part of me wanted that earlier version of the bill to pass because conservative mindset is that of “i dont care unless it directly effects me” so if you had them loose their insurance to learn that republicans dont give a damn about you then that’s probably what it would take. but the rest of me isnt a monster and doesnt want 10s of thousands to die annually from no health insurance

Obamacare was destined to fail… Anything short of universal healthcare will not work. we had the president the congress but honest politicians were MIA

    • Posted by JO MANGEEE, at Reply

They are both paid for by big pharma, otherwise we would have universal healthcare now. I trust no one, and neither should you

The GOP will steal your car give you a one wheel buggy and say you are now much better off. Stupid fukn red state hicks will sayΒ  ‘Thank you’

    • Posted by ranscott2005, at Reply

Well, here’s something for people to consider. Since they want no one to have health insurance, that means they are a death panel. What happens to dead bodies? Well, in the case of a lot of people, organ transplants. People in deep red states, that are not in favor of the death panel, need to have the notice on their drivers licenses that says “Organ Donor” removed, and also stop donating blood. The chances are very high that someone who voted for the death panel, would need an organ or blood. Not from my dead body.

KJCP PIRATE RADIO I’d also like to see most of the Democratic Party gone as well all the ones that care more about their corporate donors then the people they were elected to represent

how do ppl still vote for Republicans?

    • Posted by icykid, at Reply

ADrew someone on Twitter told me because they know who the real enemy is… Islam and they will always support them. Basically he would vote for ANYTHING the Republicans pass just because conservatives are inherently xenophobic. So to recap show you’re racist its a guaranteed vote from a conservative for Republicans

the media keeps moving more and more to the right and telling people that the extreme right wing idiots in the media are liberals or centrists. and democrats keep telling people that republicans ideas are the right ideas.

My question is will they keep that insurers can’t deny people with pre-existing conditions?
Because as a post-transplant patient if insurers can deny people with pre-existing conditions then I am dead.

    • Posted by Jannis Wildermuth, at Reply

I’m no expert, but as far as I know they can at least increase your prices. I’ve seen numbers like an icrease of 400%, but I’m not sure about that.

    • Posted by shadowspider9, at Reply

Increases are one thing. It won’t be easy at all but I can deal with increases to a degree if I have to. However, if they eliminate that insurers can’t deny people with pre-existing conditions they I will not even be able to get a policy no matter the price.

    • Posted by ThornBrier, at Reply

The increases are in the other version. This one does not have increases.

    • Posted by LessAmericans, at Reply

shadowspider9 They’ll be able to jack up the premiums so high that you won’t be able to pay them. De-facto denial. They’ll wait till you need care and then deny it.

  12. Posted by DragonFae16, at Reply

We should push with the term ‘Wealthcare’ just like how the media coined the term ‘Obamacare’. It gets right to the point.

Things like Healthcare (in this day didn’t have 200yrs ago), and Education should be an American right. I think too many people in government positions have grown up in our crooked system where only money and favors exists now & numb to the real people that should matter.

    • Posted by goober, at Reply

Cara Crabtrree Cara Crabtrree It did and you couldn’t be more wrong. This issue goes back to the founding fathers. Thomas Jefferson passed “An Act for the Relief of Sick and Disabled Seamen” in 1798. Both Jefferson’s party and Alexander Hamilton’s party supported government-run marine hospitals. The bipartisan bill passed and, “all sailors on private merchant ships had to pay a tax, and in return, they were basically given access to a small public health-care system.” Please don’t make the mistake of believing the world wasn’t as advanced as it was. Yes, they put leeches on George Washington, but one doctor wanted to try a new procedure on the former president (a tracheotomy). It probably would have saved Washington’s life. There were primitive aspects of life 200 years ago, but there was also socialized medicine for sailors.

It won’t work. Conservatives are so stupid they never learn. There’s one touting trickle down on another thread. It should be renamed enslavement economics.

It’s ironic how it’s the baby boomers that voted for trump but yet they are the ones that will be affected by it the most!

    • Posted by Rechenmaschine, at Reply

I’ve approached pro-Trump boomers on this subject and they are under the impression that it would still be Obama’s fault, even if the changes that hurt them are made by the current administration. They aren’t just the generation of sex, drugs, rock n’ roll, and destroyers of the marketplace, they are also the generation of denial, deflection, and doubling down on fault.

This health bill should be discussed in the public arena, not created in private. This is insane behavior on the part of the Republican party. In many ways they’re likely to kill off their own supporters – or thoroughly piss them off.

    • Posted by bailuli, at Reply
