Republican "deprive the beast" method never ever transforms. Cenk Uygur and also John Iadarola, hosts of The Young Turks, go over. Inform us just what you think in the comment area below.

" The challenging lessons are piling up for Republican politicians as they battle to repeal the Affordable Care Act, however one stands out as a precursor of things to come: Tax cuts for the rich, combined with decreased solutions for the bad, are a politically disagreeable combination.

Not able to get the first version of their health care costs off the ground, Senate Republicans are anticipated to launch a revised expense on Thursday that would keep two of the taxes on the wealthy that were imposed by President Barack Obama's health and wellness legislation: the 3.8 percent tax on financial investment revenue as well as the 0.9 percent additional charge on Medicare tax obligations, both troubled high-income income earners.

Republicans have actually long claimed that these tax obligations are eliminating jobs and also strangling financial development, but the association of reversing numerous billions of bucks in tax obligations for the affluent and cutting deeply right into Medicaid has ended up being untenable." *.

Big government is the future and conservatives live in the past, trying to cling to their power and wealth. Socialism can not be stopped, it just takes time. Scandinavia is working their way towards socialism and it is a paradise. It might take 100 years, it might take a thousand, but eventually the entire world will embrace socialism

ElChapo Junior I wonder what the post scarcity world will look like.

    Alex Jones is fake news.

just because it’s the other side, doesn’t mean it is right, but it’s not surprising republicans that fall for the nonsense can’t think themselves out of that box…

mark navarro because that kid you help up from that person bad decision either stops the cycle of bad decisions and gives him a chance of a better life. we are human and we are going to make mistakes but to punish the future generations cause you feel like you want a blow job for it? dude you can get taxed more and still live comfortable. that kid you dave cause you are saving him can find a cure to cancer or be president. social programs aren’t free hand outs, it’s for the disenfranchised to have a fighting chance to become something great. You can’t bring money after you die, helping one other is going to help us all.

Strange how people keep voting these assholes into power!

    • Posted by Blair Schirmerx, at Reply

True, especially since someone who works for 45 years at minimum wage has been cheated out of something like $675,000 plus interest and COLA over their working life, and that’s just someone at the bottom of the economic ladder whose productivity is fairly low. Remember, we’re talking tens of millions of people who just don’t have the intelligence to get above minimum wage and close to minimum wage work. Multiply $675,000 by 50 million people and you get 33.75 trillion dollars.

That’s just a very rough calculation of how much wage suppression rich donors bought from Congress and the past six presidents–it’s a whole he!! of a lot of money stolen from working people through fraud and corruption.

Maybe we would have more money of you stopped giving tax cuts to the rich and blowing billions on fighter jets.

    • Posted by Cameron Moore, at Reply

well this year’s fighter jets will be phased out, lost trickle down into the hands of terrorists and we’ll need newer models every year to remain competitive with our old arsenal.

    • Posted by Kevin Montrond, at Reply

Cameron moore. Thats complete bullshit. Americas military is already several times stronger than any other country.

    • Posted by Optimus Fine, at Reply

Cameron Moore You could cut the military budget in half and still be the most powerful nation on the planet. I understand the need to keep up a strong military, but the immense amount of money spent is not justified at all. There is no large scale war going on and the enemies America is at war with don’t have a navy or airforce.

Quit calling SS, Medicare and Medicaid entitlements. They are EARNED BENEFITS because you pay for them with taxes.

A constitutional amendment to assure that all citizens, regardless of their economic class have access to free healthcare!
Let the top one percent pay for it all.
Now there’s a noble use for all these billionaires making more money then they know what to do with!
    Fracking much?

    • Posted by Big Chapp, at Reply

with all the crazy tax cuts they get, they could easily pay for Heathcare and Free higher education… but the rich dont want a strong middle class. they love keeping people sick, so their Pharma stocks can raise. they love keeping people poor and uneducated to keep their low-skill workforce robust…

  13. Posted by Big Chapp, at Reply

can we please just allow the SOUTH TO RAISE AGAIN, so we can cut those stupid fucks off and let them live by the conservative policies they support. without tax cash from progressive states to save them, red states would turn into Somalia

These republicans are so stupid it defies beleif. The rich are taking an ever larger share of a stagnant economy. This system is unsustainable and these tax cuts will break it’s back

  16. Posted by goodgulf13, at Reply

The debt is high, so their solution is an 800 billion dollar tax cut.

No they aren’t. You cannot resell taxes. You cannot do anything with taxes that you could with a product.

Republicans don’t care about a healthy american economy or populace. The people stupid enough to believe them will never believe that their problems are caused by republicans. It is painful to see such a great nation and people reduced to such a Nazi like state. They cut programs apparently just to hurt people. It is stunningly mean and they do it with glee. The more pain they cause their own country, the happier they are. They are every villain in every movie and kids cartoon gathered into one political party. All we can hope is that the people who support them die off quickly enough and that intelligent young people, minorities, and immigrants can out vote them soon. What a sad thing to have to wish for.
