These criminals really do not want to discuss their heist to the general public. John Iadarola as well as Jayar Jackson, hosts of The Young Turks, discuss. Inform us exactly what you believe in the comment area below.

" Television reporters covering the Capitol were informed midday Tuesday to stop videotaping meetings in Us senate hallways, a dramatic as well as unexplained break with custom that was soon turned around in the middle of broad rebuke from reporters, Democratic legislators and supporters.

The episode heightened existing concerns regarding reporters' accessibility to Washington leaders in an age when hostility toward the political media has significantly come to be the norm. For some, the transfer to protect legislators from unscripted on-camera meetings fell under a bigger Trump-era pattern to curtail press freedoms, whether by barring reporters from talking to officials or denying them accessibility to rundowns, journeys and also events.

" These are activities that are without precedent in the history of the White Residence as well as Congress," claimed Ben Wizner, an attorney with the American Civil Liberties Union as well as supervisor of the group's Speech, Personal privacy and Innovation Job." *.

No so much as a “democracy” where the guy who received the least votes wins. See? craziness is in the eye of the beholder.

Where are all of the free speech people for this? Do they only show up at all lives matter rallies?

    • Posted by keith woodson, at Reply

beastalchemist “free speech” means I wanna say racist things. As long as I can say racist things, I don’t give a damn what the mainstream media can report. Likewise “state’s rights” means I wanna do racist things.

    • Posted by GreenGretel, at Reply

+keith woodson. The irony is they _can_ say racist things; no one’s taking their precious ~right to be racist filth~ away from them. Unlike Europe, we don’t have hate speech laws; however, there _are_ sometimes social consequences for being repugnant – taking responsibility for the things you say is just part of being an adult – and _that’s_ what freaks them out

    • Posted by Stephen Crane, at Reply

Consequences – I’d like to see a person advocating the right to be racist say the N word above 110th street here in New York. It would end nastily for them.

so trampling on the 1st amendment again. its number one for a reason people. freedom of religion, people being able to speak there minds without repercussion from the government as long as its not in sighting hate speech, the pressing being able to do their jobs, and being able to freely protest, is more important than having a gun. regardless of what party you’re in you should see and have a problem with this.

Conservatives aren’t even conservative anymore. They’re outright facists now.

    • Posted by Tony C., at Reply

Yes, they are, but it’s spelled “fascists”. Thank you.

    • Posted by GreenGretel, at Reply

+Greaseball Jones. There’s always been a crypto-fascist element to conservatism, but yeah, it’s boiled over into something overt now.

    • Posted by BIGWORLD0074, at Reply

Klash they are the minority party in this country and can’t stand it that’s all

Republicans are going to WORK on their shady agenda while we are captivated by Trump’s daily gaffs. Repealing bank regulations put in place after the great recession, pushing tax cuts disguised as healthcare reform, all kinds of devastating things for regular middle class and lower middle class folks. Trump isn’t going anywhere until he proves not to be an effective enough distraction.

Then we’ll get Pence and oh, what a joy THAT will be!

It seems the authoritarian thugs are getting more brazen. As long as we keep reelecting these corrupt clowns, they will think we are rewarding them for this behavior.

    • Posted by disgusted1, at Reply

+TC Sam Are we actually electing them?

    • Posted by Tony C., at Reply

No, we’re not. Not with all the gerrymandering (for the House) and voter suppression going on.

This is fascism out right our democracy being stolen from us

    • Posted by reedcampbell9, at Reply

we never have nor will we ever be a democracy on purpose. We are a republic. And no that’s not fascism, clearly you aren’t to familiar with forms of govt

    • Posted by Kevin Clements, at Reply

LOL ! Trumptard just stop the defense of the indefensable.Β They tried to shut down the press, that is a CLEAR violation of the 1st Amendment….and when I say democracy, it’s with a small d, and yes we have a democracy within a republic.

    • Posted by Tony C., at Reply

Clearly you are not familiar with the concept of freedom vs. fascism.

    • Posted by Tony C., at Reply

      Thank you.

Not to quibble because this is disgusting, but the statement said “senators…or senate committee”. It was “or” not “and”. The free press needs to push back. This is NOT okay.

    • Posted by M R MaMellow, at Reply

+Shie H.ey Zo ur NOT an Grammar Nasi THEN?
      ????? πŸ˜πŸ™„

    • Posted by Shie H., at Reply

M R MaMellow I am something of a grammar nazi, but my comment had nothing to do with that. It does matter if the press had to get permission from multiple people or groups or if they only need permission from the person they were talking to. The commentators implied that if the person wanted to talk to person “A”, they would need clearance from multiple sources rather than person “A” directly. I do think the press shouldn’t need any permission to ask questions, but there is something more than a “grammatical” difference between “and” and “or” in this case.
