RINOS, Neo-cons, or Christians? Out of the big three “Republican” groups I think the christians have done the most killing. The only other group that tops their numbers in deaths of innocent people are the Communist Democrats.

I’d your going to get rid of the healthcare mandate, I demand you also get rid of the car insurance mandate.

    • Posted by Cory ryder, at Reply

why its due to stupid drivers and rich peoples cars why your insurance goes up make wealthy like trump pay fair share for more then once in there life

    • Posted by flewjewcoop, at Reply

It’s only liability insurance that is mandated to own an auto…Liability for damage I may cause to someone else’s life or property. If I get sick and can’t afford my own health care, or find some charity to assist, then I should not be able to force damage upon you.
The individual health care mandate actually FORCES people to receive damage that is not their doing, while the auto liability mandate does just the opposite…Forces people to take responsibility for damage from auto accidents. If you do not engage in risky driving or any auto accidents, your insurance is very cheap. Not so with the health insurance mandate. The people who take less responsibility for their own lives actually benefit, while the more responsible and healthy people are forced to assume what is often crippling financial liability.

    • Posted by Aaron Wantuck, at Reply

Um no. The insurance mandate forces you to take responsibility if you get into a situation where you need medical insurance to have the ability to pay for instead of passing the cost onto the other people who do . For example, if you fall off your roof and have no medical insurance, the hospital which is forced to treat you (passed by Reagan BTW) basically treats you by overcharging others since you will most likely declare bankruptcy on your non-ability to cover all the bills.

It was your doing for being on the roof and no one else’s when you fell so why should other people in the hospital subsidize your bill?

With car insurance, the basic cost that you pay is determined by replacement value. If you do get into an accident or ticket it is determined that your bill should increase. This is EXACTLY what the medical insurance companies were doing with pre-existing conditions. A healthy person was at base cost but if you developed a sickness like cancer you bill increased.

The difference here is if you are unfortunate to have gotten cancer it was most likely not your fault. Same thing with things like Cystic Fibrosis or Pompey’s disease. How do you justify that a person was not being “careful” so they acquired genetic diseases? Did these people take “less responsibility” for their own lives for just being born?

You statements are that of a simpleton who does not fully take everything into consideration.

    • Posted by Aaron Wantuck, at Reply

It will be worse than in 2008 since the revenue for the federal government (taxes) was still nearly the same. this time they will literally starve the government where it will not be able to pay its bills unless it takes out massive loans.

  11. Posted by SocialDoc: TryYourMedicine, at Reply

The world has been rigged for some time now. Think about it less than 1% have all the wealth and they force us to keep paying more?
Zionists keep buying these politicians so they can keep stealing money and they keep rigging the system to make the already poo 99% lose any incentives for the tax they pay. Who is surprised by this scam?

  12. Posted by hudsle, at Reply

Cuz its worked SOOOO well for them till now. Why NOT include it in a tax cut..errr..reform plan that will blow out the deficit, raise taxes on the middle class, and that even the people it benefits most dont want? What could POSSIBLY go wrong? Aside from GOP lawmakers publicly coming out against the bill. But that wont ha….oh wait…nevermind.

    • Posted by Aaron Wantuck, at Reply

I think like many things, some of the masses who never took responsibility in actually voting for your representatives for decades will cause them to now do so. This will then create a government in which we can rise from the ashes and fix a lot of these issues.

Look what just happened with the last elections, new comers who took no lobbyist or corporate pac money are now getting ready to be sworn in for January. There are a lot more of the 99% than the 1% so overall we do have the power. We just need to use it.

  16. Posted by John W, at Reply

The republican party is 100% corrupt.

  17. Posted by Dana Chapin, at Reply

If at first you don’t succeed: try, try again. Are our elected representatives sick of trying to make more people sick yet?

  18. Posted by TheUltimateBeing01, at Reply

So, in my work, we deal with medical insurance claims and the stuff I’m learning makes no sense. We’re doing Medicare Part D SilverScript plans for older beneficiaries. The more I look at stuff and the cost breakdown the more I realize we need single payer.

Did you know that under the Medicare Part D SilverScript plan, recipients have to pay, beginning in 2018, around $5000 in drug related expenditures in order to have a small copay or dramatic reduction in what they pay for coverage? At that level, called the “catastrophic” level of coverage, Medicare claimants are spending so much on needed drugs, SilverScript lowers their cost to only a fraction because they clearly need the medicine.

Why even do that? Why is the government *negotiating* with pharmaceutical companies over pricing of drug prescriptions in the first place? The government should be telling the PHARMA companies what to do and what prices to set, not trying to bargain with these greedy fucks!

We need single payer in this country. Not only that, but the government needs to control the prices of medical services and products, not private companies. Because when private companies are in control of the price and value of drugs and medical procedures, that creates an economic incentive for companies to profit from the sick and dying. I cannot stand behind that.

    • Posted by judyleasugar97, at Reply

We have to get corporate dollars out of our political system! This is why the govt won’t tell the pharma and insurance companies what prices they’re going to get.

    • Posted by Aaron Wantuck, at Reply

Could not agree more. Got the bill for my son being born int he hospital. Not only did they botch his circumcision but they sent a bill for it that my responsibility is $1800. That was just for the “room” and “supplies”. That was not even the doctor fee. I told them ABSOLUTELY NOT when the cost for that at a doctors office is like $300-400 out of pocket. Now I know it is a hospital but I am not paying their mortgage. If the bill was like $500 for the doctor and facility fee I would not care. However since they screwed it up I am now fighting to not pay a dime of it anyway.
