" A rogue faction of the Venezuelan authorities attacked the country's High court in Caracas on Tuesday, going down grenades from a helicopter, federal government officials stated. It was an uncommon uprising by government employees in a nation that has actually gotten on side from mass demonstrations and also economic crises.

A video clip shot from a home window as well as published on Twitter reveals a helicopter stroking in a circle around a structure as surges are listened to.

Another video clip published on social media on Tuesday showed a uniformed guy identified as Oscar Pérez, flanked by covered up, heavily armed guys in uniforms, taking duty for the operation. The speaker claimed he stood for a coalition of armed forces, authorities and private personnel that opposed what he called "this transitional, criminal federal government."

" We are nationalists, patriots as well as institutionalists," the guy claimed. "This fight is not against various other state safety and security forces. It protests the immunity enforced by this government. It protests tyranny. It is against the fatality of young people defending their legit legal rights."

    Hahaha socialism at its best

Finland has one of the world’s best education systems, with no tuition fees and also giving free meals to their students. The literacy rate in Finland is 100 percent. Finland has one of the highest standards of living in the world. Like Denmark and other European countries, equality is considered one of the most important values in society. Whereas in the Netherlands, government control over the economy remains at a minimum, but a socialist welfare system remains. The lifestyle in the Netherlands is very egalitarian and organized, where even bosses do not discipline or treat their subordinates rudely.

Whilst for Americans socialism remains a curseword because ignorance, for us it’s just normal…
Nothing scary about the goverment controling certain things so they provide Education,Healthcare
and other basic needs..(as a right,Not a privilige).. wich guarantuee Education and healthcare and equal opportunities for *everyone*
Really are you people that afraid for Healthcare and education for everyone? You scared of equal opportunities??
Scared of goverment regulating big insurance companies for example to make insurance affordable for everyone?
Cos that’s all what socialism is nowadays in most countries..
      like i said before…
      *I don’t get it* -.- l
And also like before..Problems in Venezuela are not due to socialism it’s because they’re to dependant as a country from one income (oil export) and they are to dependant as a country from Import.
Due to the lower oil price the economy shrinks wich means less import wich means *empty stores with basic goods* add to that *high inflation and high unemployment rate* and you have ehhh
      *Exactly what’s going on now!!!*

I can already see all the “socialist” comments. Before commenting, look up socialism, the different versions of it, and actually research the government of Venezuela. You’ll be surprised that they are not one of the same.

+Emmanuel Quaintance You’re clueless as to what real socialism is. Socialism is not Capitalism + a welfare state. Most of Europe is not Socialist; it’s Capitalist with Social programs. Real Socialism is where the Government controls the means of production and all workers make the same wage.

Yeah – Venezuela was praised by socialist world wide, they where all soooo happy that it finally worked.. But now, oh no, it’s not socialism any more, because it failed..again.. • Posted by Kaergaard, at Reply

Socialism is a political ideology – capitalism is a economic system. I know it’s hard for socialist to understand the difference, because they dont understand economics.

AR Rains No, comparing a monarchy like Venezuela to an actual socialist country is the most nonsensical thing you can do.

    • Posted by Emmanuel Quaintance, at Reply

Bernardo Hille Norway is not a capitalist country. Literally, they run their very own fund for their people. Sure, they run it like a company… because… well, *it is a company* But in Norway, the government owns most of the oil, most of their earnings are directed to a fund which they plan to use when they run out of oil, they provide free healthcare for their people, free education, the government owns other businesses; that sounds like socialism to me by any definition. Venezuela, on the other hand, was always run as a private island-bank for Hugo Chavez and his friends, not as a socialist country.

    • Posted by Emmanuel Quaintance, at Reply

Liam Overall Norway is not capitalist. It has a market economy, but it’s not capitalist. Socialism can be non-market and market socialism. Norway is a socialist country. The US is a capitalist country, and so it has a financial crisis every ten years because that’s what happens in every country with pure capitalism.

    • Posted by geromino97, at Reply

Eric Moran why would maduro stage a attack? venezuela is at a point where it is at risk of civil war so staging a attack might cause actual people and them people to do real attacks so that doesn’t make sense for maduro to do that, maduro wants there to be less violence because he knows he is close to being dragged through the streets

    • Posted by Cristian Caraballo, at Reply

Eric Moran did you see or heard most of the speeches of maduro and diosdado (one of the head of the government party) most of them is about violence. Those people don’t understand that we don’t want them. And they use illegal means to stay in the power.

    • Posted by Gabriel F, at Reply

geromino97 you clearly have never been anywhere near my country. The attack was stage (already recognised by people with in the government) because it allows Maduro to justify dissolving the assembly and being more brutal on clapping down protesters. The government wants violence because they have 95% of all weapons in Venezuela, in a violent confrontation they win, in a peaceful one they loose.

    • Posted by Urius Tosh, at Reply

Venezuela has some of the highest rates of illegal gun ownership in the world. The saying goes every guy in Caracas has a handgun. So, just on face value you’re peaceful/violence narrative is not real.

    • Posted by Gabriel F, at Reply

Urius Tosh have you ever come to Venezuela?, im not basing my argument on “the saying goes” im basing it on the reality of the streets. All military weapons are in the hands of the government, all 80+ dead people (mostly underage boys) have been protesters, I could go on and on with evidence, but its easier for you to come and see it with your own eyes.
