Santa sacrificed himself for all the naughty children so their souls could

our culture is banned !! wtf it’s our culture. our culture belongs in our
country this is why the alt right is getting popular

    • Posted by Short Names, at Reply

Sam Thomas Santa isn’t culture, it’s religion. The theocratic pledge of
allegiance is worse, but any form of religion has no place in the public
      sector.

    • Posted by Faegir Volva, at Reply

Short Names Santa is NOT religion. It’s secular, and it’s just for fun.
Santa is kind of a mixture of Christianity, Norse paganism, and Coca-Cola’s
      marketing.

    • Posted by randomflashbacks, at Reply

No, the alt right is getting popular because humans are tribalistic animals
who will support any cause that gives their life meaning, even if that
      cause is bullshit.

I thought the cross was the religious symbol of christianity? Santa isn’t
even in the bible or religious doctrine. Its just a cultural folk lore that
has been used for the holiday season. Im not even Christian (agnostic) and
even i say its dumb. Christian cross, star of David, and Islamic crescent,
being banned in public sector? i agree. Santa? Really? lol

TheGM Well, I’m pretty sure that’s entirely down to who your responders
are, like all humor. Though… I’m not exactly seeing how one side is
funnier than the other. It’s more a matter of what is funny about each one,

  11. Posted by DeathByGaming, at Reply

So they’ll ban images of Santa Claus from the school because it’s related
to Christmas and therefore Christianity, and yet I’m willing to bet that
the same school allows their Muslim students to roll out their prayer mats
and bow to Mecca during class periods.

Why are people trying to stop us from enjoying Christmas? What is the
point? Do you hate the spreading of joy and cheer? Do you dislike gifts
    also? Pathetic.

    • Posted by Shawn W, at Reply

You celebrate one religious holiday then you must celebrate them all.
Otherwise, don’t celebrate any of them. So yes, Mike Conley was right when
he said school is for education, period.

    • Posted by 04mzwach, at Reply

The majority like Santa so the majority should enjoy Santa decorations.

    • Posted by StandingPerfectlyStill Holly, at Reply

Shawn W correct: you must celebrate them all, and should. period. it’s
pretty clear, and not much else to say unless you wish to argue about
nothing. as I stated in a previous comment..kids are kids..they require
more than a dry, boring education. school should not function like a
network, but a community. please don’t go on and on to me. I dislike
religion as much as the next one, but celebration is fun. the world needs
more joy, and if schools want to pretend they need all if a kid’s time
(they don’t) to teach the basics then they need to include something as
simple as a fun holiday. yes, all of them. duh?

    • Posted by 04mzwach, at Reply

+Shawn W Go somewhere else if you can’t stand decorations. Lol I know life
is tough but if decorations bother you then you’re going to have one long
      and bad life.

Christmas has nothing to do with Christianity. It’s practically just a

how about instead of just banning everything we open up and teach kids
about all the holidays happening this time of year.

+GatesOfVienna If a school in the US is state funded then it cannot teach
      religion of any kind.

    • Posted by robert williams, at Reply

WobblyBits_X. well I’m not a trump fan myself. I did just hear that a bus
bomb went off in Berlin I guess it killed several people and injured many
others. no information yet on who did it tho

    • Posted by WobblyBits_X, at Reply

+robert williams And young, white, Christian men make up most domestic
terror attacks (shootings with a political agenda) within the US, it
doesn’t mean you’re justified in demonising all young white Christian men.

Extremists in both Islam and Christianity are a tiny minority.

    • Posted by GatesOfVienna, at Reply

+WobblyBits_X With it’s current interpretation of the constitution I
assume. Look, you teach ‘about’ religion, not teaching the religions. US
education system is a gigantic failure and we will see what happens in the
      future.

About islam, it needs to be reformed. There’s to much excuses for
terrorists to use from the Quran. Christians causes no problem in Europe.
      Neither does hindus,jews, buddhists

    • Posted by WobblyBits_X, at Reply

+GatesOfVienna I agree that the US education system is terrible for various
reasons but changing something like allowing religion to be taught (about)
in schools would take a constitutional amendment and we all know how
Americans are about that kind of thing, particularly when it comes to
      religion or guns.

  15. Posted by MISTY1770, at Reply

One of the reasons why Democrats lost so many elections.

    • Posted by MISTY1770, at Reply

+Shawn W There’s nothing to refute. This has absolutetly nothing to do
with separation of church and state. Is the state forcing you to do
      something based on theocracy? No.
It’s libtards trying to change the cultural norms as usual. Folks don’t
want it. No just in the US but all over the world.

    • Posted by robert williams, at Reply

MISTY1770. we aren’t changing anything we are asking that the law be in
forced. SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE if you don’t like it send you kid to
      a private school

    • Posted by Mark Bishop III, at Reply

+MISTY1770 *[” Progressives despise the constitution because it limits govt
      power.”]*

That’s quite the projection. Progressives embrace the constitution, while
traditionalists misinterpret its principles to suit their own agenda.

ok so i paused the video at 1:51

so i understand that not everyone is a christian (i aren’t myself) so not
everyone celebrates christmas but one thing that gets my goat is there is a
difference between not celebrating an event and been offended by it? we are
civilized people (or so i am lead to believe) so someone not celebrating
something shouldn’t mean that no one can.

i have never ran into a person that’s not christian that got offended when
you wish them merry christmas at worst they have just looked slightly
bashful and said they don’t celebrate it to which i reply may the new year
find you well (i personally see yule, Hanukkah, christmas and new year as
one big event i time of giving, caring and celebrating that we have made it
to the end of yet another year and the fact that that time span covers at
least 3 faths is all the better)
