The GOP enjoys to teach about fiscal conservatism … until they have the presidency. John Iadarola, Jimmy Dore, and also Ron Placone, the hosts of The Young Turks, tell you just how much they're including in the debt. Inform us what you assume in the remark area below. Join TYT:

" The GOP's tax bill would certainly include $1.7 trillion to the public debt over the course of a years, as well as raise the country's debt-to-GDP ratio by 5.9 percentage points, according to the Congressional Spending Plan Office.

The CBO analysis relied on the Joint Committee of Taxation's finding that the costs would cut earnings by $1.4 trillion, which falls within the level Republicans permitted themselves in their budget resolution. Still, the extra price of financial obligation servicing would certainly mean that the overall debt would certainly boost by $1.7 trillion.

The GOP permitted themselves up to $1.5 trillion of deficit increases over a decade in their budget plan. Regardless of the added prices of servicing financial debt, the tax plan stays within the bounds, which means Republicans will still have the ability to pass the costs with budget plan settlement, a treatment that just requires a simple majority to pass in the Senate."

Why call yourselves ‘conservatives’, when y’all aren’t even conserving our money?

The debt always spikes after a crisis like a war or an Obama administration.

IDK federal deficit is going down if u look at any debt clock.

  6. Posted by zarplex2003, at Reply

I’m SHOCKED! No, wait. I actually understand that cutting revenue while increasing Federal spending explodes the deficit, thereby exploding our national debt. Apparently Republicans don’t understand this, even when a Democrat is the president. Because a Democrat will cut the deficit in half and then the Republicans will say, “SEE! DEMOCRATS ARE INCREASING THE DEBT!” As if they even care anyway. Right now that Republicans are in charge, all of a sudden debts are wonderful! Everyone forgets that it was Reagan who tripled our debt and convinced America that we could be a nation of debt in the first place. Bush Senior was unable to fix the problem. Bill Clinton then left office with a SURPLUS. Bush Jr left office with a 1.2 trillion dollar deficit. Republicans… You’re a disgrace.

As long as it happens under the Republican party it’s a “necessary evil”, but if it happens under the Democratic party……then it’s just “evil”!Lol

Jamie Cox That is the greatest hypocrisy of the Republiscums.

    • Posted by GR. Hollman, at Reply

Under Reagan, they put a very solvent health Medicare and social security into the general funds, raided it and then used bullshit talking points to convince people it was insolvent. Its all intentional and treacherous.

Who knew that the party responsible for every recession and debt explosion since and including Reagan (the reason Bush Sr couldnt keep his “read my lips” promise and lost reelection) would once again did us deeper? Weird!

Am I the only one who is also shock that only 60% of the country says that this bill will benefit the rich? Because the percentage should be more higher.

Republicans under Obama: “The debt and deficit are going to kill us all!”
Republicans under Trump: “Debt, schmebt. Who cares?”

  13. Posted by Dark Jedi, at Reply

GOP balloon the debt with their corporate welfare and tax cuts for the rich, then tank economy while raping the working class. Then they ask the tax payers to bail them out. The Dems comes in to the save the nation then the GOP shamelessly lie and blame it on the “socialist” and “commie” policies and idiot right wingers end up believing their bullshit because the SJWs are so mean to them!

    • Posted by Yan Sho, at Reply

well…right wing will allways mix communism and socialism…the way i see them: for a right wing person, helping people around you because you earn way more then them is a really bad thing….unless it comes back to them ( i allways tought that if you give for giving, you are not supposed to have something going back to you in return)thing is: if middle class pay less taxes, they will be able to spend more, which will help the country…when rich people pay less taxes, they do not spend more, since they allready spend a lot…yes, they will say that they will be able to raise wages, but they won’t unless you force them…there is a difference between ” i could” and ”i will””…i am pretty sure that, after all thoses tax cuts, rich people of america are gonna still be wondering why the roads are so bad….

makes no difference it will never be paid anyways, we were left with 20 trillion. 20,30,40 trillion it will never be paid anywyas

How many times is going to take for voters to realize Republicans consistently crash the economy and Democrats have to clean up their mess?

    • Posted by cobraglatiator, at Reply

the democrats are just as bad. two sides of the same damned coin.

    • Posted by nick s, at Reply

umm the economy has been great sense trump was elected so get you facks straight

    • Posted by Levity, at Reply

Yeah, Democrats clean it by cutting spending. Greatest trick Republicans play on Democrats.

Don’t forget to do it again, when the Republicans intentionally lose and hand you a debt mangled economic mess. Loved watching them squirm as they cut the budget. I loved watching TYT’s impotent rage during the Grand Bargain era.

Wasn’t nearly enough the last go around.
