The DNC failed America this election!!!

    • Posted by mikelon6343, at Reply

actually they did a great thing. They got Trump elected

    • Posted by RedX165, at Reply

They’re going to get Trump elected in 2020 seeing that the DNC still hasn’t learn what the real problem is.

    • Posted by Blazed and Confused, at Reply

      Sure, just this election…….

  2. Posted by mikelon6343, at Reply

Please continue to in-fight and support identity politics, it would be funny if TRUMP gets in for 8 years.

    • Posted by IybraesilGaming, at Reply

He knows if Trumpcare passes he won’t get reelected and therefor won’t get anymore of those sweet sweet donor bribes.

    • Posted by Roe Kemp, at Reply

IybraesilGaming No, actually there is infighting. The Sane Progressive movement vs. The Justice Democrats vs. Corporate Democrats.

    • Posted by IybraesilGaming, at Reply

What wrong with Justice Democrats? Not enough selling out to corporations for you?

    • Posted by IybraesilGaming, at Reply

So in other words not being dicks to people.

Yo Tim, I think you left your sense of humour at one of the hundreds of feminist marches that happened recently.

    • Posted by tim211292, at Reply

that would be tricky since i live in Australia. Interestingly you wrote humour with the u so presumably you arent American either which makes it odd that you would choose that kind of comment

    • Posted by facefister69, at Reply

Because America is were this “progressive” bullshit is originating from, only fitting to use it as the basis of my comment.

    • Posted by tim211292, at Reply

define “progressive” as America is not what id call a heartland of the left by any stretch of the imagination. i presume you are talking about SJW bullshit which is not progressive

    • Posted by facefister69, at Reply

That’s what the “progressives” in the US think progressive means, hence the quotations

  4. Posted by A1Cvenom, at Reply

The left needs to stop coddling Islam and identity politics, only then will they win back the swing states they lost.

    • Posted by mikelon6343, at Reply

that’l take 50 years. You wanna keep losing till then?

    • Posted by Martin Armenta, at Reply

I’m mexican and the majority of us are right wing, you think minorities = left wing? You must be those white atheist liberals that never met actual minorities. The republican party will survive because it will adapt

    • Posted by Roe Kemp, at Reply

A1Cvenom How are they going to win back anyone with the way they continually attack the working class by calling them uneducated poor white trash and racist bigot fascist Nazis?

    • Posted by The Chosen One, at Reply

The left will never recover unless they reform. The mentality people like Blades Strike has is what dooms them, believing all minorities automatically are left wing. The left is becoming a hate group now.

the DEMOCRATS don’t get it period… and they’re all corporate.. which is puzzling to me, like why is Cenk and co. trying to heard people back to them with this ‘Justice democrats’ bullshit… The Dems are over.. ALL of them as well… that’s all that I can say about it. People thinking otherwise are lying to themselves. Even TYT… new party or no party for me. #DemExit

    • Posted by trippplefive, at Reply

      exactly what I keep saying.
Jenk’s goal is to make the party a little bit scared so it moves to the left a bit. The guy is not really a progressive…he can speak the language though.
If he truly was a progressive, he would go full Nader…the time for a third party movement is perfect right now, but he used his audience to keep the same old , same old in place…maybe get the crony corporatists to move left on a few things. That’s it.

    • Posted by BlankBrain, at Reply

Historically, it’s very difficult to run outside the two main parties. The last person to try was Theodore Roosevelt, and he lost. Many voters, particularly older voters, will not vote outside Republican or Democratic parties. Even if someone manages to beat the odds and win from a new party, both entrenched parties will do everything they can to take them down. Reforming the Democratic party, taking it back for the people, seems to be the only viable option.

    • Posted by ssuuppeerrbbooyy, at Reply

If its puzzling its because you are clueless. 95% of the time the candidate with more money wins an election. So you either get bought by corporations or you lose.

  6. Posted by Mad Hatman, at Reply

how about giving the progressives 20 years of time running the party. Like the corporates have. Then we can discuss a big tent.

    • Posted by mikelon6343, at Reply

i dunno, you guys havent divorced yourself from the insane sjw’s. If you go down that path you might relegate the Democrats to third party status. Not that i mind itd be nice to have libertarians versus Republicans

Proud Corporate democrat here. Capitalism (regulated with basic safety nets) and the concepts of competition, profit seeking and individual freedoms are the preponderant reasons why we are the most advanced nation on earth today. The only area I really agree with progressives is in the area of universal health care (access to healthcare should be a right) and of course on social and civil rights issues.

    • Posted by Justin Whittington, at Reply

I don’t think anyone can say that opportunity is greater elsewhere. On the other hand, buying into the notion that we’re the greatest country in the world despite having fallen behind in so many areas is just foolish. Whether someone thinks it sucks or thinks it’s great, we should be working to improve.

    • Posted by Diaberu monk, at Reply

Al Mahdi Alaoui corporatism is an extension of capitalism. Name me a capitalist country that isn’t ‘corporatist’. That’s because you need a government to regulate markets.

    • Posted by popp007us, at Reply

All legitimate issues, including income inequalities. No system is perfect, we definitely have to try and improve flaws wherever they may lie . But I just think that we should not be demonizing people and politicians who believe in markets and the fundamental benefits of having corporations in terms of spurring innovation, job creation and other advancements.

    • Posted by Diaberu monk, at Reply

popp007us Politicians who support corporations over people don’t deserve our sympathy. We should be trying to bring back jobs, but bowing down to corporate money doesn’t do the country any favours. Progressives are only asking for reasonable reform.

+RedX165. Bernie did not sell out. He’s not that old. Trump is about the same age as Bernie. You should do a campaign motto like “I suck dicks 2020!”

We need to hold all politicians accountable. Let’s be clear, the Republicans are OPENLY pursuing dangerous policies that will very likely bring America into another civil war. But yes, corporate Dems are also bad. Until we have an educated public that insists on truth, not propaganda and talking points from their elected officials and their media, we will continue to see the worst kind of government that money can buy.

The Corporate Democrats do get it, the Progressives are the ones who don’t get it. Corporatists know exactly what they are doing and keeping the Progressives from getting a foothold is what they’re doing. They’re not going to let Bernie Bluster or any of you Progressives upset their apple cart. How come you can’t get that? Their pockets are full and they have you on the outside looking in. You really need to look elsewhere because they will not let you steal their party.

    • Posted by Rip Sumrall, at Reply

Oh Susan…. the tsunami is coming for both parties. Funding didn’t help Hillary did it? There are 15 year olds right now who will vote soon, you think they will vote for anything less progressive than Bernie espoused? No they want even more. Money can’t defeat the will of the people. We will take them out.

    • Posted by Susan Raezer, at Reply

Million Dollar Rabies. They will funnel money to the corporatists candidates who are in office now. The few, with massive funding, who do get through, will be treated like Bernie. They will be relegated to a corner, and placed in positions where they have no chance of attaining any power. In the next election, they will be primaried.

    • Posted by Rip Sumrall, at Reply

??? This was a bit disjoined don’t you think? Getting rid of Superdelegates was the only bit made sense..

    • Posted by jayteso, at Reply

no but look at what they did to bernie. democrats control the primaries. exit polls suggested fraud/hacked voting machines. also millions of bernie voters were either purged from registration or had their registration switched. because again democrats control that process and they investigate themselves. we cannot win within the democratic party how was that not proven to you during 2016

What your not getting is that to get what someone else gets is getting to what people want to get for the sake of gettings sake and nobody gets what others seem to get.
