Let’s be honest; we knew that cynical right wingers would take advantage of this environment of women coming out about harassment, and use it against people they disagree with.

If I pay $425 for a protractor that thing better write and do the “protracting” for me for that much money, while making me popcorn.

I know…how about you liberals advocate for more refugees and immigrants to compete with? or call people racist for wanting to limit hi1 visas and kick out illegal immigrants

    • Posted by dangerouslytalented, at Reply

Michael Robertson except the work is being offshored and because the regulations are being gutted, the employers can get away with overworking and underpaying employees. Oh, and if they were actually hiring graduates, there would be no problem finding qualified and experienced locals instead of flying in Pakistanis or Filipino people to do it.

Michael Robertson Mike I’m a licensed Ultrasound tech and they pay I’m finding is an insult(17-27hrly). If you knew how hard we work and the amount of responsibility put on us, this is disgraceful) I routinely screenshot job descriptions that require a bachelor’s yet offer $15 per hour and I text these out to my friends so we can fume together.

Karl Marx called, he said, “I told you so”.
The consumption of excess luxury goods doesn’t indicate a strong economy. it actually retards the economy. it coagulates it. Rather than paying back in taxes, they’d rather throw it away, conspicuously, in your face. Like someone taking a single bite of delicious cake in front of a starving child… and then throwing the rest down the sink in spite.

yeah but they get their servant(s) to shop for them maybe it is called something different now but in essence it is the same a person who works for a rich guy / girl who gets paid for doing the minimal work like house cleaning, cooking, shopping, etc.
so the rich person never has to leave their comfort zone which is around other rich people

Apparently you don’t know the depreciation of so called precious metals. Tiffany’s jewels is as bad or worse than most vehicles (what’s that saying about driving off the lot?). I can’t imagine how shitty these crappy and even-more–useless-than-a-diamond-ring objects will rate.

    • Posted by Jaerdin Spader, at Reply

    • Posted by Star_27 ‘, at Reply

Devyn VanFossen we don’t need communism, we need to be somewhat individual…

    • Posted by Zombie Buster, at Reply

Trump and Putin are non-ideologues, but classic despotic autocrats, who hang on to authoritarian dictatorship by keeping people in divided groups. The first group they persecute will always be the extreme left rebels who will resist at all cost, including those who label themselves communists. Oddly, they came to power by fostering both neo-nazis right and communist left. Why do you think at Putin’s dinner table, Mike Flynn sat on one side, and Jill Stein on the other? Make America Divided Again, was the game plan all along. You’re welcome… tata…

  17. Posted by T. Gorbach, at Reply

A 1000 dollar Tin Can?….A 9000 dollar ball of yarn??…..Well Tiffany’s apparently has a very low opinion of rich people’s intelligence.

    • Posted by wratched, at Reply

That’s not that hard. Remember, edible gold is a thing that exists. Then of course there’s everything sold on Goop. that stuff can actually kill you.

    • Posted by T. Gorbach, at Reply

True. As they say a fool and their money are soon parted (In the case of Goop – a fool and his life.)

    • Posted by Zombie Buster, at Reply

A $2,000,000 a month to keep America’s First Bimbo in a different city, just because she wanted to avoid her husband for six months. Next time get a first lady who loves her husband. Cheaper.

    • Posted by SIXITHS, at Reply

To be fair, due to the number of rich Americans who simply inherit their wealth without any merit of character, this could be a highly profitable business model.
