That didn't take long. Cenk Uygur as well as John Iadarola, the hosts of The Young Turks, show you Trump's reaction to Theresa May. Tell us just what you think in the comment area listed below.

Read more here:

" Donald Trump has terminated a Twitter broadside at Theresa May, standing for a remarkable diplomatic squabble between the allies.

" Theresa @theresamay, do not concentrate on me, focus on the damaging Radical Islamic Terrorism that is occurring within the United Kingdom. We are doing simply great!"

The United States head of state's message was a feedback to criticism from May's spokesman over his retweeting of anti-Muslim video clips published by the replacement leader of a British reactionary group.

Nevertheless, the "@theresamay" that Trump targeted does not come from Theresa Might, the British head of state, yet a woman called Theresa Scrivener. Minutes later on Trump removed as well as reposted the tweet, this moment with the right manage: @Theresa_May.

The feud marks a new, unforeseen spin in the "special connection" that has observed close connections between leaders such as Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt, Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan, as well as Tony Blair and also George W Bush.

May was the first international leader to see Trump after he took workplace– they were photographed holding hands at the White House– as well as invited him on a state visit to Britain. However that has yet to happen after a collection of controversies as well as warnings that militants will certainly take to the roads to show he is not welcome."

No, not really. Leaving off the question mark at the end of your sentence though … now that’s bad.

Teresa May is not right wing. Being a conservative in Britain is not the same thing as being a Republican. Our Conservative party is left of your Democrat party. May believes in gun control and free health care.

Sashabizz4 Actually Donald Trump is hated by the majority of the British population as he is in America and other parts of the world

    • Posted by Sashabizz4, at Reply

Jonathan Xavier— Most people couldn’t care less about Trump.. let alone hate him. People aren’t sitting around fretting about what a leader in another country does because there is a list as long as your arm of far worse than Trump.. You and your ilk hate him sure but I’m getting rather browned of being told by self appointed spokesmen of the British people on the internet and the left wing media we all hate Trump.. we don’t. We have other concerns aside from Trumps latest tweet. I’m really getting all bent out of shape because Trump tweets some vids.. I don’t need him to tell me the dangers of islam as I can see clearly the newly installed skips full of concrete closing of the xmas mart..

    • Posted by Jonathan Xavier, at Reply

Sashabizz4 Most people do care about Trump because he’s such a vile scumbag who offends even value they hold. He’s a garbage human, a sexual abuser, incestuous pervert and dangerous. You refuse to concern yourself with him because you actually like him. You right wing lunatics are not the majority though, fortunately. Mate, you’re not fooling anyone with your bullshit act. Trump is is a dangerous lunatic who has done irreversible damage to lots of people, including to Muslims in this country. Hence why we went up in arms over something so blatant as a lie about Muslims. Thankfully you right wing lunatics are dying out.

The far-right in the UK has sadly grown in the last 10 years but they are still a tiny fringe movement that fantasises about having the kind of influence that the Front National in France has…Trump has boosted Britain First with the kind of publicity they could previously have only dreamt of…the disgust at your President is now overwhelming in the UK, a recent Pew poll found 75% of the British public had no confidence in Trump to do the right thing in world affairs, 89% saw him as arrogant and 69% saw him as dangerous.
Even half of UKIP voters don’t trust him to do the right thing in global affairs…the Tories here will have to hide their true feelings about Trump to maintain cordial relations but they know Trump is a busted flush who may not complete his full term anyway…they are already looking ahead to the next President…

    • Posted by Pete The Pict, at Reply

Olly America has gone from a country that deserved a modicum of respect to a joke. We can only laugh at a country that would elect a barely literate man-baby to the presidency.

    • Posted by The Mycroft, at Reply

Pete The Pict I don’t think us Brits can comment when we vote in the conservatives yet again. They are now held totally responsible for over 120,000 deaths of the most vulnerable in society. They are on the path to selling everything of worth on this island to their friends. Let’s not forget the embarrassment that is Boris Johnson and his enabler the sociopath Teresa May.

    • Posted by Olly, at Reply

Look I’m a Labour supporting socialist who has never voted Tory, but I have conservative friends and I know someone who worked at number 10 for David Cameron, and I do not know a single one of them who doesn’t find Trump detestable…even our conservatives, despite their vindictive economic policies, stop short of promoting fascism…

    • Posted by mkjboise, at Reply

Olly, you really need to tell Tories to move along without the US. The current political climate here isn’t changing anytime soon. If you get your news from TYT and buy in to the whole Justice Democrat winning plan…you are only setting yourself up for a letdown equal in size to the one Hillary supporters had in 2016. The republicans control the majority of all the statehouses, governors manors, congress, senate, supreme court and the presidency. The liberal movement, and how it is going to take over in the US is an inside joke, a pipe dream- and nothing more!

    • Posted by Olly, at Reply

Well that is a rather bleak assessment, I prefer to remain optimistic that America will pull through on to a better course after this dark period…the recent Democratic wins in previous Republican seats gives me hope you can turn back towards decency…I will admit there’s a lot of work to be done and Republicans often seem more determined to enact their awful vision for America than many Dems but I have American family and have been to your country 6 times so I have to believe the tide can be turned! 🙂

I appreciate the effort by TYT but I think America are really underestimating how big a deal this is in Britain. An MP was murdered by a man who shouted “Britain First!” last year and another member drove into a crowd outside a mosque. POTUS has legitimatized what many consider to be a terrorist organisation.

    • Posted by vick3d, at Reply

The 2018 elections in the U.S. will be decisive. If there really is a wave of Democrats elected then he’s in trouble. Regardless, even people like Paul Ryan have said they’d be open to a trade partnership with a post-Brexit UK. Republicans are more likely to be Anglophiles than Democrats who prefer the EU stick together so I’d think you’d want a Republican admin if Brexit does happen (you’ll probably crap out though and reverse it).

    • Posted by James Nicholls, at Reply

You listen to the Joe Rogan podcast at all? He had Colin Moriarty on there recently who had some interesting predictions for the Republican Party in 2020. Even suggested they’d run another candidate and Trump might go indy. If you haven’t listened, I’d recommend it.

Can’t wait for 2018! How do you think it will go down?

    • Posted by vick3d, at Reply

James, elections in the U.S. are all about turnout. Higher turnout usually means the left-wing candidate wins. When Obama was elected in 2008, the Dems swept the elections to a near supermajority with 60% turnout. Just two years later during the Tea Party “revolution” there was only 40% turnout and the Republicans swept. I think the UK has a similar phenomenon, with Corbyn’s last showing being better than expected by riding a high turnout.

These tax cuts Trump is touting are actually pretty begin, but he can carry them as a political win. Along with judicial appointments (another Supreme Court justice could die or retire in the next year) a foreign policy win (NK, NAFTA, whatever) could be enough to temper Democrat enthusiasm and energize Trump’s base. I expect the Democratic turnout to be lower than they hope and for the status quo to pretty much stay the same. I think THAT will wake up the Dems and then 2020 things will turn around.

    • Posted by Paul Temple, at Reply

Agree, this is a very big deal in the UK. We fought the second world war to get rid of fascists like Trump and the military and the establishment think he is an enemy.

I’m British but I’d never heard of this group ‘Britain First’ before Gump retweeted them.  After a quick look at their facebook page it’s clear to me they exhibit the common traits of most hate filled right wingers; a desperate need for attention, extensive mental health problems, and a sub 100 IQ.  The Donald would get along well with them.

    • Posted by Paul Temple, at Reply

You should try friending lots of people older than 50 on Facebook then. Because they all re-post Britain First propaganda about how the Muslims are killing old ladies and made ex forces people homeless. I am not sure if the morons are actually fascists or just easily led by propaganda but they sure as hell like Britain Firsts messaging.

Hey …British Citizen here…to ANY american who thinks they understand whats “going on” in the UK with regards to islamic extremism, mind your damn business…your entire world view is stuck in your backyard and you have no CLUE how the rest world works. My country is full of people who care about decency and human rights. Those are our morals. We care more about solving problems and treating each other equally. Our politicans arent celebrtities and we dont accept propoganda in our politics when it is found out.Not only that, but our security services work extremely hard to keep people safe.

Whatever obsessions you have with brown people keep it to your own country cuz one day in London and you will realize just how little time you have to care about a persons looks when you need to use the bus or go to the supermarket. Its amazing to see people from all over the world enjoying their holiday or making a better life for their children.

An eloquent reasoned assessment of the UK global village. Unfortunately you’re pissing in the wind in trying to convince any radical nativist ‘muricans of those facts. They could be amongst the most ignorant backward knuckle dragging pond scum on earth. Most think Scotland is a part of London and that the sun orbits around the earth.
As history shows us … any populous that holds their hand to their heart and swears allegiance to a flag while proclaiming nativist exceptionalism are in fact a clear and present danger to collective global stability. It’s time the world treated the US as the greedy self entitled pirates they really are.

BatsAndBadgers     From another British citizen….your post sums the US up brilliantly. It is very worrying that so many Americans seem to be turning further right through fear and mis-information. I wish more of them would acquire passports and visit other countries before spouting rubbish about them.
