" WASHINGTON– President Donald Trump has designated Teresa Manning, an anti-abortion lobbyist that has actually said that "contraception does not function," to supervise a federal household preparation program for low-income Americans.

Manning, a former lobbyist with the National Right to Life Committee and also legal analyst for the conventional Family Research study Council, will certainly function as replacement assistant secretary for populace events at the Division of Wellness and Human Solutions. The Workplace of Populace Affairs provides the Title X program, which funds contraception, Pap smears and various other preventive healthcare services for 4 million low-income Americans, approximately fifty percent of which are uninsured.

Manning has actually claimed she opposes government family members planning financing, and she has a lengthy background of making incorrect cases regarding contraception and also females's wellness.

" Obviously, birth control doesn't function," she claimed in a 2003 NPR meeting. Rich women can still get emergency “spa weekends,” and poor women will have to make due with dangerous home remedies, back alley butchers, or bear the unwanted. Rich are taken care of, and the poor ground underfoot. All according to plan.

It’s not silly. I’m not a youtuber that plucks opinions out of the air & converts them into facts, you know. When making comparisons re policies, those two have more in common than the UK Conservative Party & the US Republican Party. Abortion – both support, renewable energy – both support, same-sex marriage – both support, carbon tax – both support, National healthcare – both support (although, currently the Tories’ backdoor implementations concerning our NHS is shady to say the least). The Rep. oppose all the above. Policies that differ are the death penalty – UK Con. Party oppose, Dem. Party – support, & Govt. severity cuts – UK Cons. support, Dems – oppose.
Although their fundamental ideologies may differ, in practical terms their policies are much nearer than the chasm between the hard, hard right-wing Rep.s & the right-wing UK Con.s.

John Johnson TYT provides a mixture of news and commentary. I think it’s reasonable to complain when they get the news part wrong. They showed a picture of a completely different person. We’ve made fun of Fox for a similar thing when they claimed the Lincoln-Douglas debates were between Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass.

It’s nothing to do with trolls…..if someone points out a bad error is that trolling to tyt fans? They are as bad as fox news with thier research….in fact they are actually worse because tyt Never pull inaccurate stories! That crap on George Michael is still up!!

    • Posted by JuC5574, at Reply

NickTheGreatAndPowerful First, I never said I was against WIC. Second, abstaining is not as hard as you make it out to be. Third, I’ve already said that I would rather more money be put into education. I also want more money to go towards mental health and to fund universal health care. I’d also like to cut our military budget by about 60%. In my opinion we don’t need to give as much in foreign aid and our tax brackets should be closer to the 50’s – 60’s. I believe we should leave internal politics of foreign nations to their people. I understand what taxes are for but that doesn’t mean I have to like everything they’re used for. Especially when I see what they have done in my community. Speaking of which I also don’t agree with my taxes funding foreigners’ businesses in my neighborhood whilst the same rules run the locals out. I have no problem airing my grievances and engaging in an open conversation without resorting to name calling. I’m sorry if you got too emotional.

    • Posted by JuC5574, at Reply

NickTheGreatAndPowerful Oh yeah and Forth. Where did I say abstinence only education? Sex ed is perfectly logical. Saying that any other method besides abstinence is 100% safe doesn’t make sense. Condoms, the pill, the shot even IUDs have a percentage of room for error. Abstinence doesn’t. That is all I said.

+Rachel Simpson Your not understanding what I’m saying. I’m connecting dots here. Contraception is just one dot.

    • Posted by Rachel Simpson, at Reply

Okay but you still haven’t told me how in concrete terms how you believe the sexual revolution came to ruin mental health care when again mental health care has steadily been defunded by the government since the 1950s. Also how exactly does political correctness bog down the mental health care system in your view and experience? And how, when you in your own words said that access to contraception as a result of the sexual revolution leads to irresponsible sexual activity that crumbles modern society, leads to unhappiness, and makes marriages fail?

    • Posted by Rachel Simpson, at Reply

And again why are you here if you neither subscribe to the channel, agree with their views, and are making your arguments about mental health and the sexual revolution when this video is about governments that want to ban contraception outright for unconstitutional, secular beliefs when it seem like you agree with both the separation of church and state, small government staying out of the private affairs of its citizens, and contraception not being banned outright? If you really believe that the government should not impose on the free market then why do you seem to be in support government control of access to contraceptives?

shouldn’t be having sex bla bla bla etc. If you’re able to resist your
hormones and abstain from having sex then that means you’re not a human

    • Posted by Anthony Fradley, at Reply

I support the gay agenda well it doesn’t, it’s not hard to abstain for sex. I would agree being poor shouldn’t be a reason for it but still

  15. Posted by Sean 7567, at Reply

Anti-abortion and anti-contraception policies and abstinence-only sex ed condemn thousands, if not millions, of newborns to orphanages and unprepared, sometimes broken families every year, destroying their prospects of leading rewarding lives and driving them to depression and sometimes suicide. Does that sound like pro life?

    • Posted by Josefine Nilsson, at Reply

It’s not about being pro-life. These people don’t care about the children once they are born. It’s about controlling female sexuality.

    • Posted by Sean 7567, at Reply

      Josefine Nilsson Exactly!

Saying that the pill causes the death of a human being is like saying that eating chicken eggs causes the death of a chick. An egg doesn’t have the potential to become any kind of organism if it isn’t fertilized. What an idiot!

    • Posted by mark navarro, at Reply

the pill does “kill” fertilized eggs. when the pill stop ovulation all together the hormone levels were too high and killed a lot of women. so it was reformulated and yes the pill does now cause abortions. sorry to burst your bubble kid.

    • Posted by LuckyNumber113, at Reply

lola bigcups They see it as a tool of hedonism. Someone in my family is like that; she’s a deeply devout Catholic and deeply anti-choice. According to her, abortion and contraception are tools of hedonism and “remedies that feminists turned to to cover their mistakes after trying to be equal to men and have casual relations with them.”

Contraceptives should be the middle ground for Pro life and Pro Choice people. You cant argue about either if people don’t get pregnant in the first place and it lower STD’s rates.

    • Posted by r pray, at Reply

The “Pro-Life” movement really is a Pro-fertilization movement. They’re opposed to ANYTHING that prevents the birth of a baby, Therefore they’re also opposed to Contraceptives! Why are people clueless about this????
