The U.S.A. will pay very much for choosing Republican politicians. Cenk Uygur and also John Iadarola, hosts of The Young Turks, discuss. Inform us what you assume in the comment section listed below.

" Lower organisation taxes.

During the campaign, Trump vowed to lower taxes on business.

Now, the United States business tax rate is 35%, among the globe's highest possible (several companies pay far less). He wants to reduce that to 15%. Another kind of organisation – known as a pass-through entity because profits "go through" to the proprietors and get taxed as personal revenue – would certainly get that very same rate. (Real estate companies – consisting of President Trump's – are usually organised by doing this.).

That business rate would be below Britain's (regarding 20%) and Hong Kong's (16.5%), yet not as reduced as Ireland's (12.5%), inning accordance with a ranking by the KPMG audit company. China's business tax obligation rate is 20%, however some firms as well as markets there deal with a 15% rate." *.

le pen, she is for increased welfare, only lowing taxes on the lowest 3 bands, ending tax evasion, lowering retirement age, 35 hour work week…nothing like trump, she just hates immigrants

    • Posted by John Bliss, at Reply

Yes but Le Pen is in France, a more socialized nation. She’s a conservative equivalent to American Republicans from the 40s to the 70s.

I love how you trolls are never capable of making a substantive argument or writing anything that doesn’t resemble a pre-teen tantrum. This is the first time I’ve actually responded to one of you but given your name, I have to wonder if you’re aware at all at how utterly pathetic you look writing antagonistic comments on a channel you supposedly hate, which actually increases tyt viewership and helps them. I wonder what kind of person you are in real life, some fat guy with a growing bald spot who’s never been kissed by a woman outside their family. Or are you some pissed off teenager just doing this for kicks? Seriously, take a moment to sit back and review whatever it is that makes your life so laughable that you feel compelled to troll.

    • Posted by Carlos Lee, at Reply

Nicholai Waldman you’re just as bad dude. Your reply isn’t valid to the actual talking points its full of emotion and zingers. No doubt you can make someone feel bad but your just aiming the same place the trolls are.

we all know how this will end big corporations will make out like gangbusters in tax breaks, and small business might get something in tax brakes, might but probably not.

    • Posted by Marcel Robinson, at Reply

+Antman4656 They don’t need Americans for slave labor, when they have people in South East Asian willing to do it for almost dirt cheap, with 1000s lining up to do it.

+rouge1ful I’m talking about the total budget. I don’t care about Discretionary vs mandatory it all needs to be cut and spent better. Only in your socialist (communist) fantasy that entitlements are mandatory. So what I said is not wrong out of the total budget only 15% goes to defense and about 60% is used for entitlements.

    • Posted by rouge1ful, at Reply

+Darkside Media then you clearly aren’t getting it. They are 2 different categories with 2 completely budget spending. Mandatory spending is clearly the fixed rate on what they have to spend like Medicare and Social Security those are government spending programs which is a different ballpark.

Discretionary spending they still have a fixed budget but you can change what department gets how much of the money and the military take up over have of it and Trump wants to increase it by 6% meaning all of those departments which are used in our day-to-day lives I mentioned and others I didn’t (just Google them) are getting cut basically everything that has to do with science, Education, the arts, programs that feed the poor, or give grants to kids to go to college and many others are gone or being defunded. It’s a waste of money.

    • Posted by Darkside Media, at Reply

+rouge1ful I understand the difference between the two. And as far as I’m concerned it’s all far game. The money on education is being wasted in Gender, ethnic studies and other worthless “education” departments, that are by design cranking out people indoctrinated into Marxist doctrine. The arts are the same thing. If your art was actually worth something people would pay for it. Have you seen contemporary art? It’s not art! It’s worthless trash that the government should not be paying for it. And are they “programs that feed the poor” or programs to keep them poor and dependent? And “grants to kids to go to college” see my first point. I would have less of a problem with grants if it was put to better use. Not being given to a bunch of people who will waste in on worthless degrees and end up working at Starbucks.

How is this “anti establishment” ???? All these Trump supporters keep saying that Trump is anti establishment and he keeps proposing tax cuts for corporations and the rich. An even bigger question is how can someone believe that a billionaire is anti establishment. A billionaire is establishment by definition.

    • Posted by Gundars Abolinsh, at Reply

Who do You call “the rich”? Small businessman with 5 employees? At least your candidate Sanderss small buisinessman considers the rich. I live in Latvia and we have so big taxes that buisiness are practically impossible in this country. We need Trump-like politicians to save this country. Cause small taxes means that buisinesses can grow and that means more jobs and that means economic growth.

    • Posted by William Blake, at Reply

For me rich is 10 million plus in wealth (total assets) hence why we need estate taxes (called death taxes by right wingnuts), your mileage may vary.

    • Posted by Vienna Waits4U, at Reply

+Brandon Jackson – TYT is lying. Trumps tax cuts are going to have a massive effect on everyone across the board, with nearly every individual from lower income to high income individuals having their federal income taxes slashed from 35-39 percent, all the way down to 15%. That’s just a fact that TYT isn’t being honest about.

Of coarse the top 1% are going to have the sharpest decrease in taxable income because, they pay the highest percentage in federal income taxes at 39%. The top 1% actually pays nearly half of the nations federal income tax. So any tax cut is going to disproportionately benefit the top 1%, because they pay the most in federal taxes.

By omitting that piece of information, TYT is simply pandering to their idiot “Hate Rich People” fan base by characterizing Trumps tax plan as being only beneficial to the top 1%. That’s simply NOT TRUE. Under Trumps new tax plan, a majority of lower to middle income earners are going to see a sharp decrease in their income taxes, going from 35% all the way down to 15%. With some people paying 10%, and a few others paying 25%. But, most people both rich, middle and lower income earners are going to be paying 15%. That’s a fact.

Trump has gone back on every decent promise that he has made and has failed on implementing the draconian ones. Mexico won’t be paying for the wall, people can still come here from the countries that Israel and Saudi Arabia doesn’t like, Obama Care is still in place and so on. He is both a scumbag and a failure as a human being and president.

Problem is the republicans, dems and speaker of the house Ryan. They all need to go in order for Trump to get more done with congress. They are horrible. They dont do anything.

    • Posted by Olaf GoldenHammer, at Reply

Mal Mal Congress is only going to pass things if majority can agree on what is being proposed. That’s how it should work and how it does work. If Trump wants to get anything passed, he has to stop catering to only one side. Getting things through congress and senate requires compromise. Which so far he’s only been doing with the extreme right and ignoring moderate republicans and democrats. The Democrats and moderate Republicans have both said what they’d like to see changed in order to get their vote. Yet Trump doesn’t listen, and then after wonders why they didn’t vote for it. It’s incompetence on Trump’s part.

I don’t blame people, particularity those suffering economically for desiring change but hope and faith aren’t facts. We must vote based on knowledge as I’m sure you’d agree. Hillary wasn’t ideal for me, either, but at least she understands politics and I believe would have been a far better choice.

Yes, you claimed to have found the numbers you named in “liberal media,” but I see no reason to take your word on that subject–or on any other. And if you are genuinely laboring under the delusion that “their only solution is to create big government and tax everybody more,” I suggest that you get to know real progressivism instead of the straw men you’ve been associating with.

Lol perhaps the trillion dollars in UNPAID wars Bush got us into (not even including the first use of drones in Libya and Yemen), the trillions of dollars in deadweight loss and debt appropriation thanks to the housing bubble, and the fact that we had to avoid a second Great Depression by saving the too-big-to-fail banks. Obama also saved the domestic car industry and produced the longest stretch of consecutive private sector job growth in HISTORY.

Bush caused the recession dummy, let’s stop shifting the goalposts. Obama ALSO lowered the deficit more than the last 3 GOP presidents:
