Excited to see how conservative news will spin thisčĄö conservatives love to
pretend they support the troops while they send them to fight their wars´╗┐

    • Posted by Gargie396, at Reply

ehhh Its fine-conservatives hate veterans anyway as they no longer serve as
chauvinistic symbol to stand on the shoulders of and shout their hymns of
misguided, ill informed, false hoods of nationalistic pride.

Love the soldier hate the veteran.

pretty sad when our veterans actually went to war foreign and abroad and
have to come home and war against their own corrupt system. That’s a damn
shame and thank you Veterans for standing up once again to the
enemy…..even though this time on American soil!´╗┐

So, you really are in actual fact using the Nuremberg defense. You just
cannot see how Nazified your country and your people have become. Except
your soldiers are killing brown people for money. There is nothing noble in
being part of a mercenary invading force. Actually, it is one if the vilest
thing that a human being can do. Can’t you understand that your soldiers
kill for money? And you deem it noble. You are the core of the problem.

    • Posted by Tony and Crystal Day, at Reply

Ok sir I see your pain is deep and I pray you find healing from whatever
trauma you hold I do not wish to defeat my original message by being
disrespectful in turn so. I will instead ask why you have chosen this video
about a kind act of human beings to speak out about your anger and if you
actually watched the video I’m not here to change your opinion about
anything I only wished to honor the men and women in standing rock who were
once deployed in a war they didn’t wage or request I’m not excusing the
cruel or unjust action of any individual soldier that will be their burden
and is between them and their creator (or the courts if my country is not
      completely lost)

    • Posted by beatthisroot, at Reply

      +Tony and Crystal Day
Keep your prayers, I have no need for them. I only want you to see that
your soldiers do what they do because they are paid to do so. They are
muscle for hire. They are mercenaries. They kill so that they can get
money. They are contract killers, mere disgusting human scum. You revere
people who get paid for slaughtering others. That is pretty fucked up.

    • Posted by Shie H., at Reply

variousiroiro Because it brings more attention to the issue. Conservatives
care about vets in the same way they would continue to ignore natives and
      “hippies” who care about water.

    • Posted by Zio Oren, at Reply

+Azarath Dragoneel Really? I would prefer handicapped. Disabled sounds like
you can’t move. Handicapped sound more like injured but can still get
      around.

    • Posted by Azarath Dragoneel, at Reply

Zio Oren handicapped means in a wheelchair, like the sign for the parking
spaces. Veterans prefer disabled because we overcome the disability every
day, we fight back. Children wouldn’t understand.

I’m appalled at the lack of coverage on the Standing Rock protests by most
media. Idc what your political beliefs are, I went full MAGA but what’s
going on in the Dakotas is absolutely government oppression. Is it that
hard to go around the land?´╗┐

    • Posted by Bladezeromus, at Reply

Gaius Frank It does go around the land. You can literally look up a map of
      it.

This fight is over money. Natives are just mad that their demands for more
cash were denied and the pipe will be built around their land.

+Thomasjsh1 Not if it’s just for a few minutes. Let the cameras get their
shots, make that visual statement that can be beamed around the country and
indeed the world (I’m following this story from Australia and wish I could
be there myself) ….but yeah, I’m not suggesting they stand out there all
day without adequate protection from the elements.

If the pipeline spills, DAPL better be ready to pay for expensive water
filters, and get every last drop of oil out of the water that isn’t on
    their property.

Imagine if you owned a house with a river bed. Now your neighbors throw all
their trash in the river and it ends up on your property. Should that be
illegal? If so, then DAPL better be ready for jail. ´╗┐

    • Posted by Issa Mar, at Reply

they’re already doing something illegal by forcing themselves on sacred
native American land, and this pipeline is guaranteed to pollute so the
place to start keeping them accountable is to make sure they don’t built
the pipeline in the first place

    • Posted by Cargo Cache, at Reply

They won’t pay for the clean-up. They won’t pay for filters. They won’t be
jailed. They won’t be shut down.

The United States is not a democracy. It isn’t even a republic. It’s a
plutocracy. The elite 1% own it. As things stand the only possible avenue
for justice will be vigilantism. But the elite protect themselves well with
the FBI, police departments, bodyguards, and this is a nation of cowards
(myself included). So, the chances that they’ll face even vengeance is
      slim.

      Isn’t capitalism great?
