" A federal charms court on Monday turned down a demand to evaluate its decision upholding the Federal Communications Commission's internet nonpartisanship laws.

The victory for web nonpartisanship advocates comes simply days after FCC Chairman Ajit Pai revealed that he is beginning proceedings to rescind the rules, and could establish the phase for a High court showdown.

In its rejection for what's called an en banc testimonial, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals pointed out FCC Chairman Ajit Pai's strategies to reverse the net nonpartisanship regulations."

    gotta love the judicial branch

    • Posted by Optimus Fine, at Reply

samuraipanda851 Perhaps the only branch standing up to Trump and his egotistical, authoritarian, and unconstitutional executive orders. We know the Republican majority House and Senate are too pathetic and weak to stand up for true American ideals and values

samuraipanda851 I think i know what you’re getting at. Two solutions: 1) Either we have a competency test for all candidates to enure we have a basic standard for our leaders or 2) Democracy is best exercised by a well educated population, lets ensure everyone is taught proper civics, philosophy, history, and basics of government.

Dont forget, majority rule doesnt work in mental institutions

    • Posted by samuraipanda851, at Reply

Optimus Fine something along those lines. I’m all for us being led by those smarter than us, but we can’t take it to far that the decision to choose our leaders falls out of our hands. I think it has more to do with changing our culture to value wisdom and experience over pure charisma.

Cuckservatives are jumping for joy because their gay porn won’t suffer any slow buffering.

Alex da Vinci actually they are so completely short sighted, hostile, superstitious freaks that they are disappointed because they think they can beat the Left and push the conservative agenda if there is Net Neutrality (IDIOTS unbelievable idiots) and dont realize they will be just as screwed as everyone else because this removes ALL FREEDOM of speech and they dont get that or cant see past their own anger to see the big picture.

    • Posted by greendayblinkfan182, at Reply

I don’t know. Yeah in a major indisputable way they’ll be “just as screwed as everyone else” but they’re also corporate ball washers so I can imagine favoritism being at play for them and it would further incentivize democrats to play ball (washer) as a means to stay afloat post citizens united.

I can’t believe Trumptards would defend Trump on this case of all things. I know you’re stupid, but I didn’t think that you were THAT stupid

    • Posted by Rusty Shackleford, at Reply

It’s not stupidity, it’s spinelessness and tribalism. They treat running the country like they treat sports; their team is always right, even when it’s wrong.

Yes we all know they were wealthy plantation owners but I mean c’mon…it was the 18th century; you can’t impose modern values on the past, they didn’t have the knowledge we do, they didn’t even know what a germ was. The point is that they designed a government to resist dictatorship that is still having all of our asses.

I understand how the Republicans get 10% of their votes, rich people are for the GOP, but the rest of their voters are some of the most disillusioned people on the planet. They have zero in common with the rich, the rich would step over them if they were on the floor having a heart attack. The GOP gets people all fired up about gay people and abortion and who uses what bathroom while lying about every single issue they campaign on. Almost none of the crap they scream about has anything to do with governing. The Republicans are dragging bags of our money out of this country’s coffers and 90% of dolt Republican voters are helping them do it.

Republicans are amazing, on every standpoint they take, you can be sure of that doing the exact opposite will be better for America, a true rare quality.

Trumpsters have no clue that Trump was trying to sell their info online cause all they care about is blaming blacks and mexicans for tbeir problems.

    • Posted by Hypnotic Synopsis, at Reply

Texas Made The selling of this info wouldn’t really hurt anyone. it would just make the marketing towards you be things that you actually like.

I much rather talk about the millions of illegals who have jobs that American citizens should have.

Hello there. If this Trump shitshow doesn’t end soon, I think that the Young Turks and their viewers, and a lot of Americans should make for the northern boarder and move to Canada. Canada needs people. Canada is much better run than the US: exemplary public education, decent universal health care, excellent universities, and so on and so on. The US could be like Canada, but choses not to be. You don’t have to go down with Trump and his gang. Arise: move North.

    • Posted by Cruznick06, at Reply

Phil O’Neill Canada is turning people away in some cases. Also the only way to get a job in Canada is to have a residence in Canada. You can’t get a residence without a job. It’s a huge catch-22.

    • Posted by Phil O'Neill, at Reply

Yes, Canada has a points system and turns down all kinds of people for immigration. I would suggest that you go to your nearest Canadian Consult or the Embassy if you are near DC and see what the story is. I am not part of the Canadian government. Canada definitely turns people away, but there is a system for taking in immigrants, and refugees legally. It takes time, and there are all kinds of limitations, but it might be worth a try. If Trump doesn’t get booted out soon, or if the constitution is amended in an adverse way (which may or may not happen) you might be happy to have paperwork already submitted. That is my take on the whole thing.
