    About damn time, something new.
14 of the last 30 uploads have been about Trump. Starting to remind me why I disliked the mainstream media.

A Unique Disposition to be fair, There is a ton of Trump news right now.

    • Posted by The Well Spoken Bogan, at Reply

Considering theres been a new crisis surrounding Trump basically daily for the last week what do you expect.

You’re right. It just gets frustrating, considering there’s breaking news happening all across the U.S. that doesn’t get reported on because of the Trump coverages.

But hey, TYT (Network) has a wide reach. Jimmy, Jordan, Kyle, Emma, etc..So I’ll be πŸ‘Œ.

To be fair, we don’t want TYT because we don’t know of anything else to watch. We watch TYT because we think they do a MUCH better job than mainstream media does at presenting the facts and commenting on them.

Please don’t trying to defend someone who makes a living off of the misery of others. If this guy was selling pot so what but if it was hard drugs then he was hurting people. I grew up hanging out on the streets as a kid and saw the damage these hard drugs do to people . We have had something like 100 people die as of 2017 where I live from Fentanyl and that’s in the major city not the suburbs. Last year in the Canadian Province I live in we had 922 deaths. Those are people who had family and friends that cared about them and now their dead ……

    • Posted by Arie Fraiser, at Reply

IAN m Whatever. People that are want to get high will always find a way to get high. Most of the deaths associated with illicit drugs can directly be traced to the drugs being illegal. Legalize all drugs and regulate them.
Then you don’t have to worry as much about what coke is cut with. The most dangerous drugs such as oxys and alcohol are legal and their pushers aren’t demonized or punished for causing untold misery but you want to dump on the drug dealer on the street because he’s not as powerful as corporations pushing addictive medications and alcohol for profit.

    • Posted by elias mccracken, at Reply

cenk specifically made a separation between peaceful and violent drug distribution. Your acting like cenk is romantiscing drug dealing, when all he’s doing is pointing out the very real economic factors that motivate drug dealing. You have to realize he’s talking in an American context, where the war on drugs is a very real thing.

    • Posted by IAN m, at Reply

I wish it was just Coke and Oxy’s we here in Canada are dealing with. Right now the streets are flooded with synthetic heroin . Just a few grains of Fentanyl can kill you its a hundred or more times stronger then morphine. That’s not including Carfentanil that’s even worse and It’s so strong a grain of sands worth is enough to kill you . These arn’t the old Coke and Heroin I used to see growing up this is a billion times worse. All I know is something needs to be done and the people selling this are selling pure evil .

    • Posted by elias mccracken, at Reply

like the other lad said, legalize and regulate all drugs and to screen out filler/worst drugs. All thes drugs you mention are cheap alternatives to the real things i.e. heroin, cocaine. If we legalize and regulate the drugs, we can eliminate the street prices that are excacberated by the danger associated with dealing it and in turn, eliminate the cheap and more deadly versions of these drugs

I’m honest, and tell people all the time that I sold reefer to pay my way through college. I came from a small coal mining town in southern WV, and that’s basically all there was. But, there’s a catch. I got busted for cultivation of marijuana, my sophomore year in college. Never having so much as a speeding ticket, I was promptly sentenced 1-5 years by a hanging judge, who was eventually ousted for being corrupt. After I paid my debt to society, I went back to school, and finished with a degree in petroleum engineering. Luckily, the guy that hired understood my situation. Because he told me that he ALSO paid his way through college by selling reefer…… Funny how the world works, huh? And, to be honest, now, at 50 years-old, with no children, and a soon-to-be-wife after 16 years together, I wouldn’t trade my 3 year experience in prison for ANYTHING. Without a doubt, it molded me into the man that I am today, and made me much, much wiser. I gained a certain knowledge in prison that I could never, ever get in 100 years of college. And, believe me, when legal reefer goes into effect July 19th, 2017, I’ll celebrate by having a toke. But, IT WILL be bittersweet, knowing I did 3 years for something that’s now legal here. It’ll be my first toke since 1989

maybe she was laughing because Cenk kinda sounds like janky….. at least that’s the what i thought of when doing a fuzzy mental search for “Jank” that might be considered funny….. i have no idea if that’s why she was laughing…..

and i’ve seen at least one documentary on how in some communities the drug dealers are the ones who take care of the community…. because yeah… that’s the opportunities that are available…. and they would make sure to take care of the kids in their neighborhood…. like give them money to get you a bottle of water and some snacks and tell them to keep the change… because when you’ve had nothing…. and now you have something…. you often wanna share with your community.

One of my professors sold weed when he/she was an undergraduate in order to pay for her tuition. Now, he/she has a Ph.D., a master of laws, and has written several peer-reviewed papers.

Selling drugs is not immoral. The act of selling or buying is fine as long as you do not harm anybody, and hence, should not be criminal.

    • Posted by GoSu MonSteR, at Reply

Agreed. The war on drugs is the biggest waste of time. Oh wait, but the war on drugs is a political tool to lock up blacks and hippies so nvm.

As a chemistry professor who got lung cancer, and with no way in hell of ever affording treatment, I accidentally stumbled upon an old student of mine and his meth equipment. Equally shocked at the huge opportunity for easy money, combined with the miserable quality of his product… It got me thinking; his contacts and street smarts combined with my disiplin and chemical expertise… it may actually pay for my cancer treatment. Or if nothing else, I will at least earn enough money to provide for my family long after I am gone!
I think I will do it. There is no way my morals and sense of right from wrong will change because of this, and everyone around me will definitely be much better off, it’s a win win!

I’m always kinda’ suprised at how naive Cenk is about some situations. Drugs are as American as apple pie and always have been. The “some kind of loser” narrative about drug users and dealers isn’t always true.
