I’m surprised that Verizon isn’t starting to buy porn sites to throttle certain connections and make even more money

  2. Posted by Keyser Soze, at Reply

Google is more likely to charge extra for a conservative website if anything.

    • Posted by Arcexey, at Reply

Keyser Soze no, they will charge more for a website that has an anti establishment message.

so thats the left and right, but right now the left is the only one distancing themselves from the establishment. The right joined it with Trump. so yeah, it’d target the left’s anti establishment message.

Is Google aka the establishment going to stop you from seeing a website that: shows specific ways how to stop the establishment (left)
shows specific ways how the illuminati and Soros are using the alien big banks and the mole people all lead by Hillary (right)

    • Posted by Hazzycakes, at Reply

They joined it while thinking they’re fighting it. It’s truly amazing how stupid the right can be.

    • Posted by Timothy McCaskey, at Reply

Arcexey: Not to mention that Google is known for selling your information to potential companies and salespeople. And Google will rat you out to the Federal Government for suspicious activity in the name of “fighting terrorism.”

  4. Posted by elmateo77, at Reply

Protesting doesn’t work, politicians don’t care what a few people shouting in the street think. We have to target them directly, by finding the ones who vote against net neutrality and VOTING THEM OUT OF OFFICE. If your congressman/woman voted for this bill, call them and let them know that you will be voting against them because of their opposition to net neutrality. Then go out and do it.

We don’t get to appoint the people in the FCC. We have NO input here.

Zucchinna Net Neutrality is very important, but not so much that I’d buddy up to President Trump. Nothing could be worth that.

The first two sentences are false. Trump appointed Ajit Pai as chairman, and Obama instated the regulation that would protect Net Neutrality not kill it.. who is this guy? Faux news?

    • Posted by BurnEdOutOne, at Reply

Ajit Pai was appointed to be a FCC chairman by Obama.
He was promoted to his current position within the FCC by Trump.

It helps to know facts so you do not incorrectly identify falsehoods.

  14. Posted by jamie fister, at Reply

idiots that don’t understand this…this is not about individual sites banning or censoring your KKK speech…it is about huge companies like Verizon and at&t breaking up your internet service into itty bitty individual packages and charging you for everything and anything and THEY WILL HAVE THE POWER TO SHUT DOWN WEBSITES THEY DONT LIKE…that means websites will not longer be able to speak out on issues that matter to us for fear of being censored…in every way possible this is bad. and if you cannot understand that you are literally too stupid to be part of this conversation and should stfu.

    • Posted by Michael L, at Reply

I haven’t received extra charges so far, crimsaga but I am sure my bill will go up exponentially, thanks to the oligarchs!

    • Posted by Tad Dad, at Reply

that is one of the slippery slops.

honestly htough people act like net neutrality is gone forever. Ajit does not ahve the power to permenantly revert the internet back into a title 1 service. Meaning it can be made a title 2 service again.

Net neutrality is mostly concept right now. there is neither law nor generally accepted practice of it right now.

It’s not but Comcast, Verizon, and AT&T want to make more money off consumers by treating internet service the way they treat cable and phone service. Their man Ajit tells you on their behalf that that’s how you want the internet to work, and his argument for it is that net neutrality hurts small ISPs because regulations take away competing power from them; the classic bullshit libertarian ‘free market’ argument.

Getting rid of something by claiming to be doing it for the little guy. In theory, the little guy could compete, however, one has to remember just how big the big guy already is. And there’s 3 of them. And it’s who Ajit is really with.

Getting rid of regulations does not level out the playing field; without them, giant corporations just get bigger and gain more power.

Also, forgot to include this. No one answers because on this issue (which should never have been an issue to begin with,) most Americans are in agreement to support net neutrality.

    • Posted by Mlpfanboy, at Reply

Adam Spencer yah no benefit to the normal person, that’s the problem, getting rid of it only benefits the ISP
