The CBO was going to say mean things about TrumpCare, like the number of millions of people will certainly lose coverage. Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, simplifies. Tell us what you assume in the comment area listed below.

" 2 fads from last week concerning your home Republicans' Obamacare repeal bill are still effectively: Republican leaders are pre-emptively assaulting the awaited evaluation from the Congressional Budget plan Office that will certainly state the number of Americans will shed their insurance under the American Health Care Act, while several Republican lawmakers are revealing doubts regarding the GOP's Obamacare substitute expense.

Over the past week, several Republicans have been trying to challenge the budget office to make sure that its searchings for won't damage their cause: the Obamacare abolition costs. As The Washington Message reported on Saturday:

But they could prevent confronting the unfavorable repercussions of their prepare for just as long: The CBO will certainly soon issue a record on their proposition, possibly this week. So Republicans preemptively assaulted the nation's assigned budget plan scorekeepers. "If you're planning to the CBO for accuracy, you're searching in the incorrect place," White House spokesperson Sean Spicer inveighed. Home Bulk Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., sneered at the office's "unelected bureaucrats." Rep. Dave Brat, R-Va., declared that "CBO has racked up every little thing incorrect for life, so they're a minor concern."

Yet the budget plan office might not be the Obamacare abolition costs's only issue. Sen. Dean Heller of Nevada– the only Republican legislator facing re-election in a state won by Hillary Clinton in 2016– had harsh words about the suggested law throughout a closed conference with several of his components on Saturday …

@Paul Allen: If you’ve never heard of the CBO, then you’re very ignorant of the operations of Congress. They have been around since Nixon’s time. Suggesting that they are a “distraction by the left” is beyond stupid.

The only ones losing here are the American public, especially the working and middle classes, as a direct result of Trump and his administration. To think otherwise would be foolish.

Has there been an administration so mired in scandal in recent history as Trump’s?

    • Posted by sullyFL, at Reply

Eh, the Russia stuff is probably meaningless, given that Team Hillary met with the Russia ambassador, too. Otherwise, Trump is just acting like a Republican and implementing policy ideas that oppressing working class and give billions away to the rich. Hillary would have entered with just as much baggage.

What’s really worrying is that despite losing to Trump, Dems have trippled down on a big money strategy that is driving voters away from the party. Progressives need to boycott Dems until Tom Perez is replaced.

    • Posted by Melanoma Trump, at Reply

+ sullyFL – I wouldn’t say the Russia stuff is meaningless. The CIA and three other sources found evidence
that they tried to influence the election, hence the sanctions. The sanctions are/were a big deal. Even pig
farmers in France have been hurt financially, I was watching on the BBC.

    • Posted by sullyFL, at Reply

I mean, the only thing Russia is even accused of is hacking the DNC emails and the Podesta emails. There really wasn’t anything in the Podesta emails, and the fact that the DNC cheated Bernie was barely covered by the MSM. That’s hardly a big influence. Obama’s sanctions were largely just for show–he had two months to have his intelligence agencies check for a legit connection between Trump and Russia–the fact that none has been released is pretty much proof that it’s just the DNC trying to deflect their own corruption by blaming Russia–Dems have a long history of trying to use Russia to manipulate voters.

Hillary did most of the email damage herself by setting up a server her own staffers said was “insane.” That, and she ran a horrible campaign.
