Deal with cash in politics at:

Republicans don't have any kind of type of appropriate response to many of their components' inquiries, and they recognize it. Cenk Uygur as well as John Iadarola, hosts of The Young Turks, review. Tell us just what you assume in the remark section below.

" After two straight recesses with top-level harangues from voters, less participants of Congress are holding city center just recently– and also it's not simply Republicans who are cutting their time in the limelight back house.

Thirty-six Home Republicans set up public conferences during the present weeklong recess and one earlier in May, according to a POLITICO analysis of data maintained by the independent website Legistorm. That's much less compared to half the 74 Home Republicans who held town halls throughout a two-week break in April, and only a handful more than the 31 that booked such public or televised occasions throughout February's one-week time out in legislating.

The drop in city center as objections proceed this year over reversing Obamacare as well as various other facets of President Donald Trump's schedule is even sharper amongst Senate Republicans. Only 2 have town halls this week, their only time off because April. Throughout their two-week April break, 11 GOP legislators reserved public conferences, as well as in a week off in February, five had them." *.

they really need to start doing Town Halls because we are the ones that elected them so they need to listen to us

    • Posted by ToldYouSo, at Reply

I’m sure you voted Republican. Super sure. I’d bet the farm.

      Against it.

    • Posted by The Secularist, at Reply

They only represent their voters? They don’t have to listen to opposing views?
My dude read the constitution and federalist papers, then pick a political party, because it sounds like you don’t understand the first things about representatives.

    • Posted by ToldYouSo, at Reply

+The Secularist I have a grasp of both political science and the Constitution. The truth of the matter is simple: A politician is elected upon presenting a program and a set of beliefs. You don’t like those, don’t vote for him. But if he wins anyway, tough luck, elections have consequences.

they are going extinct because the government doesnt want us to have a voice…if this healthcare bill goes thru i will be doing a civil suit since my entire family would lose insurance

    • Posted by Dribrom Sunrock, at Reply

But way the government should ensure healthcare for all is because it’s more cost efficient for the government. More sick people and people die before 80+ means allot less tax revenue. In the long run it’s just better for the all in the country. If you cut the cost over a 100 year period the government will even earn money from it.

    • Posted by L C, at Reply

How many people work until they’re 80? I don’t plan on working until I’m 80. The government will never be cost efficient.

    • Posted by Dribrom Sunrock, at Reply

L C You still have to pay taxes even after you’re 65. You most likely have to pay taxes on your pension, only a portion of the pension is not taxable. And you still have to pay taxes on stock transactions and other stuff of course.

I sent an email to my congresswoman in district 21 of NY and got a form letter back that her only defense against HR676 was that she had a few Vets complain about the wait times to get treatment at the VA. She refuses to do town halls and won’t meet with groups bigger then 10 and with no recordings. Lol at MAGA.

    • Posted by Bluespirit12345, at Reply

Fun fact, you could go straoght to your senators office. All senate and house buildings are completely open to the public, and the hearings. Of course youd have to get to D.C., but its interesting to see what they have to say when you’re in their face

Republican Leadership: Waaaaaaah. These voters are being mean to me with their legitimate concerns and grievances. I need a safe space. Wahhhhh. Wahhhhh.

    • Posted by Hal Jordan, at Reply

This isn’t feudalism. This is a democratic republic. These people were elected to be public servants. They should be made to communicate with people they serve. You’re a part of the kek culture, and are subscribed to racist people that don’t like it when Arab men date white women. You support their right to say heinous things, yet you want a safe space for public servants who should be held accountable. That is not only moronic, but it is also hypocritical.

The wall that became a fence that Mexico was supposed to pay for that America will pay for? Or the jobs going to China like Ford? Yeah, great job. Meanwhile he said he would “cover everyone” for health insurance, but instead is kicking 22 million people off it, so that the most wealthy can get an 800 billion dollar tax cut. Great indeed.

    • Posted by Jim is the man, at Reply

FYI – Carrier is now sending 1000 of those 1600 jobs tRump “saved” and sending them abroad. The $16M they agreed to invest in return for tax breaks of $7M is going towards automation (i.e. eliminating jobs).
