" The Trump White Home is quietly courting a couple of dozen Residence Democrats on tax reform– eager to stay clear of the destiny of the GOP's straight party-line effort to jam through an abolition of Obamacare.

Even as legislative GOP leaders mainly welcome a partisan path on tax obligations, White Residence officials have actually been charming 15 to 20 centrist House Democrats since early summer season. The Trump administration is all too familiar with legislative Republicans' battles to find together on a series of hot-button concerns– from health care to government costs– and tax obligation reform is littered with political minefields for the party.

So the president as well as his team are opening a line of interaction with modest Democrats in case a Fallback is required. At a mid-June dinner at the White House with 4 centrist House Democrats, Head of state Donald Trump expressed interest in a bipartisan bundle integrating tax reform with infrastructure investing, several resources claimed." *.

Well yeah, since you guys have pushed them out of the part, they will turn Republican. See West Virginia

    • Posted by Path Evermore, at Reply

great, i wish all the closeted republicans would leave the party.

    • Posted by A54321, at Reply

Path Evermore Closeted Republicans. I don’t believe a single democrat voted for the republican healthcare plan, and Gorsuch wasn’t passed without the nuclear option. You’re forcing members of your own party out with your extremes

    • Posted by Path Evermore, at Reply

the democrats are not my party. a party that is funded by goldman sachs does not deserve my vote.

the democrats recently seem to think that shaming and bullying people to vote FOR them is going to work. they want unthinking party loyalist, just like the republican have, then they get upset when someone chooses policy over party loyalty. i’m not going to change my ideals to fit a party.

so many democrats and republicans are bought by the same wall street oligarchs that when i see that no democrat voted for trumpcare all i can think of is that trumpcare was just a circus orchestrated by goldman sachs to keep the insurance company profit booster known as obamacare generating profits for the insurance companies. while also placating the people that voted the actual corporate CEO into office happy.

Kinda like the way TYT just courted $20 million from a wall street hedge fund?

    • Posted by philajfran, at Reply

      Fake News bullshit.

    • Posted by Native Centre Idiomas, at Reply

No, because TYT is a private business and the government is not.

    • Posted by philajfran, at Reply

Come on Whytebio? Where is the evidence that TYT was given $20 million by a Wall Street hedge fund? Or are you just another lying little conservative triggered snowflake?

    • Posted by Malachi Owens, at Reply

That’s what politicians called themselves when their republicans but has a (D) by their name.

  17. Posted by FactFive, at Reply

Why is the media (including TYT) pretending that most people favor Republicans? A majority of Americans voted for Democrats, both for president and Congress. Politics in this country is operating on a complete lie. The real problem is (not regarding money in politics) the electoral map and gerrymandering.

  18. Posted by Jason Nysa Cleomedes, at Reply

So how much money does each democrat constituent have to contribute, if their candidates do not take money from corporations to compete in elections?

    • Posted by H, at Reply

Jason Nysa Cleomedes Depend where and at what level of office. I know a City Councilman in my hometown who won in landslides like 5 times and collected an average of $5 per person (our town has 40,000 people, between 2000-10,000 vote). The problem isn’t necessarily money raised, as we saw with Bernie who raised the most, but that rich donors can and will drown the opposition in cash if they don’t like the other guy. It’s becoming an accepted occurence in politics, legal battles, even business

    • Posted by Jason Nysa Cleomedes, at Reply

I’m talking about all the elections that we want to win.  I believe we want to win every election, correct?

  19. Posted by Karolus Magnus, at Reply

this isn’t news, it’s everyday MO of the politicians.
