rouge1ful it was an older section of the pipeline that leaked and it’s much safer to transport oil by pipeline than rail or barge

    • Posted by Nora Koch, at Reply

5 minutes ago the only way to transport oil with no risk of spill is to just leave it in the ground actually. I know crazy ides right

What do we need oil for?

Here’s an idea, build pipelines through rich white cities in the state, see how quickly those cucks come out against pipelines.

The hypocrites will come out in protest.

    • Posted by Hugh Miller, at Reply

Actrually that is why the route was change. It was originally going go through more affluence area, but due to complantes then redireceted to the Indian Resouvation.

  3. Posted by Kevin Montrond, at Reply

Maybe just maybe…… we could make the pipelines stronger? Nah that would cost money and possibly make things safer. We cant do that.

    • Posted by Hugh Miller, at Reply

Issue isn’t strength, it’s the pressure and temperature the oil is going through and the joints.

    • Posted by NoEphingIdea, at Reply

“and the joints.” what about them? perhaps…. their strength?

they want to expand this thing? jesus no. it already spilled nearly a quarter of a million gallons and defenders of this pipeline the corporate spokespeople, the trolls, and just plain uneducated claimed up and down that this pipe could never leak and it couldnt possibly contaminate peoples water (while it hasnt gotten to the river yet-supposedly-dont think it cant) even though there have been over 2000 pipeline spills in the last 10 years and that number is still probably way under reported.

The oil is being transported by rail. The choices are 1. rail 2. pipeline either one works.

    • Posted by 5 minutes ago, at Reply

The oil that spilled was from an older portion of the pipeline not the one that was recently built.

    • Posted by 5 minutes ago, at Reply

It is much safer to transport oil by pipeline than rail and much more efficient

Festus LoraxHagin Wind, Solar, Hydro. Take your pick.
They are proven methods of clean and constant energy. The problem is energy companies can’t find ways to profit from such methods so they try to make excuses not to implement them.

The Keystone Pipeline should be rerouted through Trump Tower, that way if there is a leak it will be Trump’s problem

trump will OK the pipeline being expanded. he has friends making money from this disaster. trump is only looking out for himself and people who could be major donors. he has no interest in the majority of the people who voted for him until he needs their vote. our great nation has become a laughingstock for the rest of the world.

These leaks and spills are NOT cleaned up. The oil contaminated soil is transferred to a near by land fill where it continues to pollute ground water. At the spill site the oil is covered with dirt to hide it. That is the so called “clean up” that occurs.

Put the pipeline where the trumptards live, when it eventually leaks hopefully the stupid trumpanzees drink it and die!

Is it actually a job boom? I thought that the govt or the oil company paid the private prisons to get “american laborers” to work to clean it up… and paying them…. well….
