Glad to see TYT finally speaking out against muslim treatment of women… oh wait nm… >.>

    • Posted by Hitchhiking Vagabond, at Reply

Swedish feminist deny that the Muslims raped 100s of Swedish young women new years eve 2015/16. They accused these girls of being dishonest and racism.

Women become insane when they have power.

  2. Posted by alaskanmes, at Reply

You have the same rights. Welcome to reality.

    • Posted by alaskanmes, at Reply

Dave Orr yeah, the way they come up with the wage gap is flawed. Fix that and show a genuine wage gap and then I will care. The trades and construction pay quite well, but far fewer women choose to join these fields. They choose not to. In my hall, being a women almost guarantees she won’t be fired. The trade school won’t get government funding if they don’t have enough women apprentices. You have a job market where you have too many people trying to be lawyers and they look down on welders, mechanical engineers and other hard jobs. If more women tried to be equipment operators, or any other trade, the wage gap would shrink dramatically.

    • Posted by alaskanmes, at Reply

Dave Orr your imaginary glass ceiling doesn’t exist. Women have become upper management in all areas of life. You didn’t even name a specific company, just some illusionary upper management boogeyman. I have had female bosses my entire life.

    • Posted by Dave Orr, at Reply

Percentage of women in upper-management in the US of 2011 was 12.6%. Canada had 13.1%, Sweden had 36.6% and China had 51%. If the glass ceiling doesn’t exist, how do you explain these figures of women in upper management positions, if women are being equally motivated to be in a job like this? According to an article in Canadian Business, women who are university graduates receive fewer job opportunities than their male classmates in the same fields, who coincidentally receive weaker grades!

    • Posted by alaskanmes, at Reply

Dave Orr cool story, but what fields were those upper management jobs in? Do those countries have a wage gap? Do their economies put different monetary values on certain jobs than we do? How much less were those grades? How are you accounting for the aggressiveness and enthusiasm used when applying for those jobs?

And after all that, it doesn’t change the fact that comparing the average income of all women and men, regardless of job sector and hours worked, is a joke. It’s bad math. When you can demonstrate that women holding the same job and working the same amount of hours results in less pay, and it’s across the board, then you may have a point.

It’s 2017, women and men have equal rights in America. If you’re not making enough opportunities for yourself, it’s your own damn fault. Men are more assertive and tend to go after money more aggressively, so if women want to be at their level they will have to man-up.

Men can get breast cancer you know. Plus I’ve seen more adverts warning men to check their balls for lumps in the UK here than I’ve seen things on breast cancer.

I did not say that, I just pointed out that its an average where there doesn’t need to be one. I’m saying that a male doctor and a female doctor of the same skill should make the same amount, I’m not saying to hire only female doctors, I’m not saying to pay nurses the same as doctors. My apologies if I was being unclear, I think you’ll find that we’re less “sick” then you might believe.

“Women do more house work.” That’s because men spend more time at work and on average pay the majority of the bills. Everyone hates this twat, she’s like a liberal Tomi Lahren. We get it she’s hot, but she’s also wrong.

    • Posted by Adeon55, at Reply

+tortozza Don’t forget garbage collecting, a field in which only 1% are women (that number is not a joke, btw).

We’ve got a _lot_ of work to do to attain true equality for women.

    • Posted by Saffron Blaze, at Reply

+blayzeon, that is a poor analogy if you are critiquing my point. The relevant scenario would be where both players are given the same resources yet one player wins the majority of the games. Hannah would argue that the winner is only winning because the very nature of the game is rigged against the losing player. The correct answer to that not all games require the same skills and attitudes to win. However, there are many games available to be played each with a different set of skills and attitudes required to win.

    • Posted by blayzeon, at Reply

But that doesn’t explain why minorities are paid less on average than Caucasians. Especially African-American women even just compared to Caucasian women.

    • Posted by tortozza, at Reply

      they do different jobs

    • Posted by blayzeon, at Reply

Ohhh, I get it. You’re saying that the winners in life are winners because of their own strategies and techniques and not their advantages at the start… wait, that sounds familiar.

Jokes aside, there’s no way to know what each faction experiences as a lot of it goes unsaid and unreported. Lots of people have biases that they don’t even realize they have and there are a lot of dated policies that continue in today’s society. It’s unfortunate but that’s why conversations like these are important, we need to spread awareness so that people can’t just pretend they don’t exist.
