A dreamer is filing a claim against the Trump Administration after being unlawfully deported. Cenk Uygur, Kim Horcher, and Brett Erlich, the hosts of The Young Turks, break it down. Tell us exactly what you believe in the remark area below.

" A young immigrant that was deported to Mexico earlier this year despite the fact he had actually shielded DACA status has submitted a suit against the Trump management inquiring about his situation.

Juan Manuel Montes, 23, filed a complaint Tuesday in the United States Area Court for the Southern Area of California, declaring that the federal government did not provide any kind of documentation discussing the legitimacy of sending him back to Mexico.

Montes has actually been in the United States given that he was 9 and also had actually qualified for DACA two times; he was shielded until 2018.

" Juan Manuel was funneled throughout the border without even a piece of paper to discuss why or just how," mentioned Nora A. Preciado, a team attorney at the National Migration Legislation Facility, (NILC) which put out the statement. "The federal government shouldn't deal with any individual by doing this– much less someone who has DACA. No one needs to need to file a lawsuit to figure out just what happened to them."

Now saying that anyone who comes to America under the proper channels and holds true to their obligations I’m all for unless they commit a serious offence. But far as people who think they can just break the rules and others have to pay for it is beyond me. Rules are set for a reason.

Its your fault for believing “disrespect” of a random woman is wrong. Or that its a crime. Or that its worthy of shame.

Women have earned zero respect. Nobody cares if they feel uncomfortable walking down the street, they don’t own the street.

J PUNISHER It was nice reading your opinions. Now you are assuming i had asked you a question and tried to turn this talk into an argument and then over on me. Ill only argue with people who know the concept of reality. I think it is funny allot of you or liberals get in your feelings over one little comment or one little thing that happens in this world. You know how week it makes a nation look when you. have millions of people crying like cry babys over little things like this. If we did not have media you would have not know about this video or the issue they are talking about. I asked a fournier what he thinks about this country. He said ” Americans cry allot about how things are going.” I said that is only the liberal side or the leftist people the main stream media is promoting.

I understand all of that sentiment, but I disagree. Everything that is desired in this country is paid for generationally. Infrastructure, education, roads, libraries, etc. That’s what makes birthright key for citizenship. The loophole for birthright citizenship are anchor babies, but we cannot start parsing which birth on American soil qualifies; that’s a slippery slope.

Why should millions of people be allowed to enjoy or benefit from a generationally financed system when they have not contributed a cent through their lineage? Further, why should we allow a population of people to remain in a country they didn’t respect enough to follow the simplest of laws; don’t come or be here without proper documentation or permission.

Every single person that is here illegal will always cost the tax payer more money than they ever pay into the coffers. Every single illegal child that matriculates into any school district USA takes up a seat. That seat has a cost, and every seat for an illegal directly *steals* funding for all other citizen seats. Every illegal mother that goes to a clinic or emergency room directly *steals* funding from their citizen counterpart. WIC illegal recipients directly *steal* funding from citizen counterparts.

There is not an issue with immigration, we need diversity, just immigrate lawfully and through the proper channels. Square this circle for me; we’re supposed to believe that they will follow all our laws except the one regarding crossing our borders without permission? Ignoring one law lends to credibility that they will ignore other laws.

That is EXTREMELY embarrassing for law abiding legal Latinos. This guy was ILLEGAL. His lawsuit will go nowhere. You can’t break into someone’s house completely uninvited then when they kick you out sue them for doing it. There’s so many people trying to get in legally by doing it the PROPER WAY. Those are the consequences. Out you go.

    WARNING: Very long/controversial comment ahead.

Many people who are uneducated/misled on the subject of immigration/refugees often ask things like “Why don’t immigrants come here legally or stay here if they know they are illegal?,” “If they are already here why don’t they just apply for citizenship to stay,” and “Why should we care about immigrants or refugees in the 1st place since they don’t benefit our country?” Well I have a few answers/explanations.

A lot of Americans, particularly those who have never left the U.S., don’t realize how hard legal immigration actually takes. Much like achieving refugee status/vetting to seek asylum from places like the Middle East, applying and getting legal immigration status can take 2-5 years no matter where you come from (even for our closest allies). If you have a relative who is an American citizen or some1 sponsoring you then you can save time but most immigrants/refugees obviously don’t. Whether you are an legal immigrant, refugee, asylum seeker, or student/tourist visa applicant, no 1 from any country can just get on a plane and become a citizen over night regardless of what Republicans/isolationists who see them as a threat to us claim.

Now if a foreigner wants to come to the U.S. legally for work or an education and they are willing to put the time and money to do so then we have no right to deport them since as I said this process of becoming a citizen takes years. But when people are trying to escape war, crime, or poverty to seek shelter in the U.S. sometimes their only option is to take the risk and come illegally and try to seek citizenship once they are here. Also, immigrants and refugees who have jobs and pay taxes (although by law most businesses and corporations aren’t supposed to hire them in the 1st place and report them to authorities) which benefits our economy, but until they become legal citizens they never receive benefits like social security and Medicare/Medicaid.

Finally, most people who come here illegally don’t tend to stay for more than just a few years (some do but they aren’t the majority) and just try to work to earn a little money to send back to their families or seek safe haven until they can return home. So President Trump’s border wall (as many at The Young Turks have pointed out) will fail at keeping immigrants out and make keeping them in easier. And, nowadays the fastest growing groups of immigrants are Latin Americans (the 7 countries south of Mexico) and East Asians (Chinese, Japanese, Filipinos, and Indians) who come by planes and overstay visas, while more Mexican immigrants and asylum seekers are returning home in recent years.

If you read all of this thanks and share your thoughts/opinions about these subjects.

+bissoc14 My country is lame compared to USA. What you mean by “providing college” is quite different from the luxury you see in american college campuses. As far as I know, Mexico is doing better as a country (perhaps being right next to trade heaven and having nice beaches has something to do). I suppose you tried to point out I am not poor enough to dezerve being taken in? That’s not how it fckin works, America is not a charity.
